Site-Engineer ( precast )
Job Discription:
a.) Using autocad (2D) i make shop drawings of precast which are exactly the same arrangement in the cast-in-bed for fabrication.
b.) Before pouring, i conduct inspection or checking all precast panel one by one if its ensures the compliance of design and contract requirements.
c.) After inspection, i compute and estimate the volume of ready mix concrete to be used for pouring and to be ordered from a bacthing plant.
d.) In pouring, i usually supervise to ensure the quality of work.From pouring to curing.
e.) After pouring, i automatically make a report and records of that pouring date. I usaully mark each panels ( number and floor to be installed ) in the shop drawing.
f.) After curing, i report to the transportation site for inspection wether my stocks precast are ready to be installed in the site and then conduct a schedule for transportation of precast to the site.
g.) In installation of precast at the site, i supervise from start of installation until finished so that i can ensure the ( plumbness, offset from gradelines, elevation ) of precast in installation.
h.) After installation, i also supervise the rectification and finishing touches of precast installed.
i.) After all fabrication and all installation in one month, using excel i make a quantity survey (one month) for billing. I usually make 3 copies of my billing (mine, to my boss, general contractor).
j.) Have knowledge in laying and plastering CHB walls and partitions.
k.) Can read and identify floor plans.
