Joining Avaya as the only local employee of Avaya Inc in Sri Lanka, the role requires providing technical support and expertise to multiple partners and top customers in Sri Lanka and Maldives on Avaya’s complete portfolio of products including UC, CC, Data and Video.
In addition to solution architecture consulting the role requires proactive engagement with top customers, partner development/training and front of the line Business development strategizing and pipeline creation.
Won Avaya Q1 FY14 ACE Award (Avaya Awards for Contribution & Excellence) for the Region (India/ASEAN) on only the Second quarter onboard Avaya for Sales Excellence and Technical Stalwart.
• Responsible for strengthening the partner eco-system by spearheading onboarding and development of leading systems engineering firms like n-able, Softlogic IT, Dynamic AV and increasing the number of active Avaya Partners to from 2 to 7.
• Directly engaging with top customers to develop advanced solutions engaging with the CxO level to convince and present solutions with clear cut ROI and user benefits while winning many enterprise solutions in the Top 100 companies in Sri Lanka.
• Has shown exponential growth of the Avaya business in Sri Lanka with high double digit growth on UC & CC business, increasing of Professional Services revenue from 0 to avg USD50k+ per quarter, launching and acquiring a number of customers for data and video portfolios with significant revenues by direct engagement with all stakeholders. Also was able to bring in the first revenue from Maldives to Avaya after 10 years and proactively engaged in numerous deals to Avaya.
• Lead the onboarding of Maldivian Systems integration partners with Avaya and developing an active eco system of partnerships working in Maldives.
• Has shown excellence in adaptation new technology and selling to the market with many a market firsts in the industry with compliance solutions, Hosted Video and SIP oriented Architecture solutions in Sri Lanka,
Joined the KBSL team as a Systems Engineer for the Post Sales Support and Project Implementation team, and was promoted to Pre-Sales and Solution Architect team on account of customer satisfaction levels achieved and analytical skills displayed. Further promoted to Senior Systems Engineer in April 2010 and currently leading the Solutions Architect Group of the Voice and Convergence Technology Division of KBSL IT.
• Responsible for leading the Pre-Sales and Solution Architect Group of KBSL’s Voice and Convergence Technology division, which generates more than 40% of the total project revenue for KBSL IT.
• Has demonstrated effective teamwork and communication skills and displayed outstanding leadership capability in spearheading the Solutions Architect Group .
• The youngest person to become a Senior Systems Engineer during the recorded history of KBSL Information Technologies Ltd.
• Handling multiple product portfolios to cater to highly competitive solution requirements for customers such as service providers and large enterprises.
• Has acquired comprehensive experience in relation to handling voice and convergence related products from companies including Avaya, NICE, Verint, Acme Packet and Cisco, and demonstrates efficient application capabilities in various project environments.
• Achieved exceptional customer satisfaction levels within the support services division of KBSL.
•Acquired experience relating to IP and Broadband technologies used in the Service Provider markets
•Worked with MPLS and network routing technologies with the leading technology vendors for SLT’s various service provider networks.
•Hands on experience with high-end Cisco and Juniper network products such as the Cisco GSR 12000/7000 Series Internet Routers and Juniper M40e/M320 routers.
