Piloted the Logistics strategies and Project Management consultancy for a USD 6.7 Million Greenfield Logistics /Dry Port project

• Strategized and led projects with Master Planning and execution of the project of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure as Project Manager for development of a new Logistics City spread over 9500 H.A with an initial budget of USD 6.7 million which included construction of a state-of-art Dry port.
• Led the Overall maintenance of the Dry Port, Civil works, and berths, yards, roads, buildings and logistics facilities.
• Prepared and managed the budget of USD 6.7 million for the Project ensuring that contracts were completed on time and under budget.
• Led the Request for Proposal (RFP) for selection of Dry Port Operator/other Supply Chain / Logistics Operations for project worth $1.05 million from opportunity identification, strategy articulation, bidding, evaluation, negotiations, and closure
• Generated 25% in new business by creating and executing successful marketing plan to launch new services

• Led Bulk services of Import operation of 2.4 million tons of Coal per year and Export Operations of 7.2 & 1.5 million tons respectively p.a. of steel and Grain respectively through conveyor belts and using grabs to Gantry Cranes and pneumatic discharge services .
• Support all human resources processes at the facility such as staffing all positions, support the performance management process, training and development of team members.
• Designed, Drafted, and negotiated commercial equipment leases, loans, sale and purchase agreements involving both foreign and domestic transactions thereby achieving a savings of USD 6 million YOY.
• Received the “The Golden Ton” and the “Best Productive Terminal” award by the related agencies for achieving a phenomenal growth rate of 152% on YOY
• Lowered OSHA rate from 11.66 to 2.91 through implementation of safety management system components including Accident Investigation Team, Ergonomics Assessment Team and Safety Suggestion Program at another facility.

• Designed and Executed a Full cycle of TCO waves: right from data collection, validation, rigorous statistical analyses, lever hypotheses, brainstorming sessions, and technical workshops, leading to identification of key value drivers, and idea generation to Implementation for a project of Total Cost Ownership (TCO) for logistics in the capacity of Regional Team Leader for 3 steel plants in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Bosnia & Herzegovina of cumulative production capacity of 12 mio’tons/year which yielded a savings of Logistics costs of $38, 00, 000 p.a.
• Develop Production/Shipment plan, budget and timelines against Capacity of finished steel of 7.2 million tons and Iron Ore Concentrate of 9, 8 million tons of per year mainly to Meditterean region, West African ports and Middle East regions.
• Improved on-time shipment percentage from 80% to >96% YOY
• Increased machine uptime from 96% to 98% through root causes analyses, machine reliability studies and implantation of corrective actions.
• Managed and ensured on time customs forwarding & clearance of finished products & raw materials, worth approximately USD 100, 00, 000 p.a.

Spearheaded Export/Import formalities w.r.t. 1, 20, 000 TEU p.a.and 60, 000 tons of raw materials

•Spearheaded all formalities related to Export/Import and shipping operations with zero delays/Zero defects which included all logistics/banking operations w.r.t import/export trade
•Devised and implemented shipment plan of export of 120000 TEU p.a. and import of 60000 Tones p.a. of raw materials in break bulk through co-ordination with Freight forwarders, Customs, DGFT, Port Authorities, Railways, 3PL providers and Shipping agencies for seamless logistics operations.
