• Initial yard planning and vessel planning and container terminal operations
• Monitor current trends and forecast for future trends
• Guide and support staff with their daily duties and promote teamwork and communication.
• Work with other departments in the company for long term plans and projects
• Involved in Long term projects for terminal optimization and automation
• Identify and analyze current work practices to find leakages to reduce costs and improve efficiency levels
• Create department standard operating procedures and best practices
• Support staff and help them understand their roles and duties in the overall organization
• Dealing with the clients of the business
• Responding to phone calls and emails insuring all needs and enquiries of clients are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
