Prevention of accidents, incidents and events that will harm people, property and environment.
Control of human performance, machine performance and physical environment in promoting safety work ethics.
Marketing safety as a management responsibility at all times and that it is not sacrifice and jeopardized in any way.
Anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs.
Prepare reports with recommendations for hazard control using written and graphic materials, presentations and other communication media.

• Coordinating with client Loss Prevention and Safety Department.
• Inspect worksite daily and report and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
• Keep the first aid facilities/clinic adequate properly maintained through male nurse/first aid attendant.
• Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage at site.
• Conduct crane and lifting gear inspection regularly.
• Conduct tool box meeting regularly.
• Verification on work permit requirements at site.
• Check/monitor rigging and scaffolding installation.
• Attend safety meetings with the client’s representative regarding safety matters.
• Orient projects workers in the correct and proper usage of all safety devices and the need for proper housekeeping.
Maintaining the implementation of the General Safety Standard of our client Qatargas throughout all project site areas.
Giving information to all workers about safety consciousness and procedures.
Conducts 10-15 minutes tool box meeting everyday before starting their work.
Conducts daily inspections, continuous inspections, monthly walkthrough to assess the development of each area together with the area superintendent.
Checking all necessary permits prior to location of each job areas.
Giving first aid assistance to all workers having minor injuries.
Member of the safety committee in the developing Loss Prevention Program and maintains the Incident Injury Free(IIF).
Assisting the Project Engineer and Site Engineer in implementing good work relations about safety awareness at all times.
Reminding all employees about the significance of correcting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Conducts training to all new employees in preventing life loss and danger in all work areas they will assigned.
Setting up of document safety procedures and precautions covering all aspects of the company’s activities and systems to disseminate these to all members of staff.
Ensuring that the procedures are fully up to date by continuous review of new revised legislation.
Performing risk assessments of each area of company activity and do recommendation on actions to be taken to reduce risk.
Attended and/ or participated on regular safety meetings within and outside the company.
Conducted and facilitates safety meetings and induction to all employees and outside the company.
Creating awareness of the hazards associated with the use of radioactive materials, carcinogens, toxic materials and other aspects of occupational health hazards and dissemination of this information.
Coordination and provision of safety training and safety induction of safety procedures.
Advise project supervisors managers on the implementation of safety procedures.
