• Main duty is to balance and tally daily book of accounts from different Point-Of-Sale terminals of the company’s stores and branches located across UAE shopping malls.
• Resolve delinquent account balances arising from unsettled Bank Statements and negotiating with the concerned authorities regarding the matters according to company policies.
• Prepares Cash, Credit Cards and Bank Reconciliations and ensuring banking of the collection is accurate.
• Coordinate daily with Banks with regard to fund transfers made by customers to credit the proceeds in the Company's account as per policies and procedures along with the involvement of the Sales and Credit Control Section.
• Perform miscellaneous accounting functions such as receiving invoices, processing funds, daily sales state ments, updating service requests and solving accounting related queries for clients and internal departments.
• Receiving invoices / sales statements and logging them in the system. (NAVISION Software).
• Verify petty cash claims and crew allowances as per the company policies and forward for reimbursement to ensure required float levels are maintained to avoid a cash out situation.
• Performs monthly financial reports from different branches in Excel format for auditing. Facilitate rectification action by various departments prior to month end closing.
• Assist in handling audit queries from External and Internal Auditors. Compile statements/schedules, which the section is responsible for as per the audit timetable.
• Examine and analyze trial balances from different business units of the company.
• On branch visit for Accounting and Verification of inventories, fixed assets, machineries and equipments and assist on performing accounts payable functions on request.
