Preparation and submission of a landscape project, according to the client’s requirement and budget.
Ensure that client requirements are always achieved during the design stage to ensure total client satisfaction.
Creation of all media to present the project to the client: plans, photomontages, books, pictures of plants, photo environments, project details and other relevant information.
Preparation of project through planning and analysis, order of materials and plants and evaluation of contracts in commercial projects
Establishing communication with client, architects and other entities related to the work for timely feedback and progress of work
Management of landscape works, involving: shaping, drainage systems, irrigation systems, garden lighting, water features (waterfalls, ponds and fountains), carpentry works, small built elements, pavements, plantations. Work coordination (machines, trucks, supplies and foremen)
Perform cost control, invoicing, re-budgeting and subcontracts price negotiation in addition to the work management profile
Track and confer with the Department of Building the site of the work to ensure that the project specifications are being met in accordance with the contracts.
Creation of a ‘built plan’ (irrigation, drainage, lighting, ponds, other water elements…).
Comply with the policy of Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health, established by the company.
Ensure timely invoicing of any extra materials procured and informing the same to the client.
Create an irrigation plan and thereafter creating bill of quantities for all project insuring that the clients and company expectations are achieved.
Prepare a project folder with the suppliers and prices considered to elaborate the budget, and other relevant information (emails, supplier’s quotes).
responsible for the following functions: nursery manager, garden design, landscape project manager, quoting and elaboration of proposals for public works.
Project & Resource Management and all functional aspects of Landscape Operations, Design / Development, Cost Estimation, Quality Control, Invoicing, budgeting, Maintenance and construction team management.
Agricultural Engineering 2002 Universidade Do Algarve - Portugal Agricultural engineering is a 5 year degree recognized by the Portuguese Order of the Engineer. In the last year of the degree i've made my academic internship (final thesis) in the Netherlands from March until September 2002.
