Responsible for the monitoring of the project progress and cost. Develop, implement and maintain cost control on the project. Review, Analyze and Comments on the Revised Construction Schedule of King Abdullah Financial District Project consisting of 30 towers from 16 floors to 62 floors worth SAR 19 Billions as submitted by Saudi Bin Laden Group, the main contractor and ensuring the Schedule is in compliance with the overall project schedule. Review and continuously monitor updates against approved schedules, the contractor's major construction progress and ensure that the project is on-track. Analyse, evaluate and make a forecast on current project status against the baseline schedule. Customize project control system to meet specific project requirements. Design and prepare Dashboard and Monitoring sheets for Weekly, Monthly Executive and Governor Progress Report as per the client requirements. Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. Supervise one or more lower-level Planning Engineer and support personnel. Work closely with the ‘Project Director and Manager’ to ensure that the main contractor’s contract program is feasible, complies with the Project Master Plan and contractual requirements. Reports status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management as well as to the client. Continually review terms of contract, required specifications and process flow diagrams to ensure compliance with project requirements. Assist in the career development and training of junior planning team members.
Determine and analyse both schedule and cost variances between baseline and updated schedule periodically of Ministry Of Interior-Center of the Developmental Projects (240 Roads and Buildings) around the Kingdom worth SAR 6.0 Billion. Ensuring the Construction Schedule is in compliance with the overall project schedule. Design Periodic Dashboards and implement progress monitoring, evaluation and reporting as required against approved schedules. Reviewing in detail the recovery schedules as submitted by the Contractors and ensuring manpower and site supervision staffs are increased properly as required. Reviewing all weekly and monthly reports as submitted. Reviewing any claim involving time impact as submitted. Advise of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken. Perform administrative and construction support functions by participating in management team meetings. Performs such other duties from time to time as deem necessary.
Oversee the construction program development, track and coordinate the progress of the project to ensure that the project is on-track. Responsible for monitoring and control the execution of the project within time and cost of 64 floors Tamkeen Tower, 28 floors Swailem Tower, and 400 units of Al-Rajhi Bank Branches worth SAR 6.0 Billion around the Kingdom. Assure that project construction schedules are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control. Analyze, evaluate and forecast current project status against baseline schedule. Assess the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Review and approve/comment on claims of extension of time as submitted by the contractors. Standardize project reports to monitor schedule progress, expenditures, resources usage, and variances. Review in conjunction with the Project Manager any potential changes, and in turn measure where possible future saving or additional cost can be identified. Ensure that the company standard and client project planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both the company and client into the project systems. Produce weekly/bi weekly/monthly progress reports to all stakeholders on Delays, Look-Ahead Schedules and Cash Flow Projections. Performs personnel performance reviews when delegated, interview candidates and make recommendations for employment decisions. Participate in meetings, reviews, and conferences. Advise and assist the contractors in the development of their work programs. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position.
Takes a lead in preparing Design and Construction schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations as requested and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules for Pre-Cast School Building, Residential Villas, Road and Water Network projects. Review all documents related to contracts such as BOQ, drawings and specifications to be reflected in the baseline schedule. Establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. Map out strategies that fit the details of the project, and at the same time understand how each step fits into the bigger picture. Reviews and assesses the work sequences with the total project plan. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer. Establishes and implement methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties. Develops specific project codes and work breakdown structures and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions for new work items assigned. Ensure proper allocation of manpower and cost elements to the individual activities and load in the schedule in Primavera. Validate that all shop drawings dates, fabrication dates, shipping and delivery dates are in agreement with the construction schedule dates for the activity. Record and report the actual progress of the work schedule against approved schedule as the work progresses by frequent site inspection and stress to site supervisors the need to follow the required sequences and durations of the scheduled activities, identifying delays and report to the project manager. Review and analyze project cost, schedule and progress. Identifies, analyzes and monitors schedule deviations. Identify and monitor potential risks to the project schedules and communicate effectively with the project manager. Prepares progress reports extracted from the schedules for company management and client in accordance with the company project control procedures and other instructions. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate under the direction of the Project Manager. Produce Cash Flow and Manpower Histogram in Primavera, evaluate claims and make appropriate recommendations. Revise construction schedules when requires due to delays, design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs or any other unforeseen interruptions to fits the project completion date.
Responsible for developing construction schedule and supervision of finance building, military headquarters, mosque, mess hall, access road, offices renovation and other works that reflect the thinking of all the parties involved and establish a plan of action for carrying out the construction work by breaking the job down into a series of manageable activities. Assign the required cost, manpower and equipments to the appropriate activities and making sure that these resources are available at the right time and are used efficiently. Update the schedule and cost plan as the project progresses and see to it that the project is progressing in accordance with the target schedule and if there are discrepancies between the progress and target schedule, initiate corrective action as needed. Prepare bar chart, manpower and cash flow histograms reflecting current status of work.
Supervised Road Network Projects (Riyadh North, South, East and West Area) of Riyadh Municipality. Check and review the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site. Perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specifications. Conduct final inspection with owner’s representative prior to proceed to other succeeding work activities that requires step by step inspection as per inspection and testing procedures. Render monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of work being implemented by the construction group. Review and comment on the contractor’s Project Schedule. Monitor actual construction activities closely to ensure that the engineering plans and specifications are being met or exceeded throughout the construction process. Hand-over project to Riyadh Municipality.

Mark out the site, make sure plans are applied correctly and liaise with main and sub-contractors and the site manager. Plan the work to be done and organize resources in order that deadlines are met. Participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction. Estimate quantities of materials, equipment, and labor for construction use. Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.
