Project Engineer is in charge of leading the daily operations of Engineering management courses, managing Field Staff's job performance and work schedules, and facilitating field-focused training sessions. This role is at the center of the Future Engineering program, as every other position will have daily or weekly contact with the Field Manager. This position requires a person that can multi-task, be well organized, and have the ability to work well under pressure. Management of people is the key aspect of the Project engineer's job, and communication skills must be efficient and effective. The Project/Field Manager will work both in the office setting and in the Coastal Hiking and Onshore and off shore course areas. It is essential that the Project Engineer have the ability to work well with people, enjoy problem solving, and have a solid foundation of wilderness expedition skills. The Project Engineer also has a permanent seat on the Leadership Team. This role will be highly rewarding for a person with developed leadership skills and will provide a unique level of experience and knowledge in wilderness therapy philosophy and practices

Keep an eye on all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements
Interpret clients' requirements
Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented
Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule
Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose
Take responsibility for a team of engineers
