Commissioning management for a 1071 MW power plant utilizing two Siemens single-shaft combined-cycle power trains each consisting of a SGT5-8000H gas turbine, SGen-3000W water cooled generator, SST-5000 triple-pressure steam turbine, Doosan Benson type (HP once through, no drum) HRSGs. The common plant consist of once through seawater cooling, black start diesel generators, 275kV and 132 kV GIS, fuel gas compressors, fuel oil unloading/storage/forwarding, and other typical combined cycle BOP for duel fuel turbines.
• Overall responsibility of the pre-commissioning & Commissioning
department development strategy.
• Responsible for the motivation and development for 8 persons.
• To verify the equipment’s design if it is working according to its
design factory specification.
• Reviewing and monitoring contractor Commissioning schedule
and procedures.
• Ensure all supporting works, coordination, supervision decision
making according to contract.
• Reviewing and advising the client in view of mitigating contractual
claims.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance against the contractual
baseline.
• Reporting to client, review site progress issue instruction to EPC
contract.
Project lead coordinator for a 1250 MW power plant utilizing 6 ST GE combined- cycle power plant each consisting of a 6 STG D11- GE 5 x 250 MW, Triple pressure steam turbine, 15 HRSG vertical type-Doosan ( HP, IP, LP drums) The common plant of once through seawater cooling, DM plant, Hypo-chlorination plant and other typical combined cycle BOP.
• Overall responsibility of the pre-commissioning & commissioning
activities (Mech, Elec, I&C),
• Coordinate between construction and commissioning departments
to insure the site work is executed according to the assign time
schedule.
• Responsible for the motivation and development for 63 persons.
• Directing a team of engineers and supervisors to achieve the
planned schedule.
• Coordination meeting with the client to make sure the progress of
work ongoing as per schedule.
• Reviewing commissioning procedures and scheduling plan
progress.
• Following all flushing progress (LO, Seal Oil, CCCW, CW, HRSG,
Chemical Cleaning and steam blow).
• Reporting to Project Manager.
• Preparing project status reports to Project Manager and provide
project updates on activities weekly and monthly.
EPC commissioning for a 750 MW combined-cycle power plant. Commenced with system commissioning through combined cycle completion of 3 x 160 MW GE 7FA units, STG D11- GE triple pressure 1 x 250 M, 3 Vertical HRSG type CMI with 3 drums
(HP, IP, LP) ending with steam side system commissioning and steam blow procedure adjustments and preparations.
• Overall responsibility of the Mechanical commissioning activities.
• Responsible for the motivation and development for 30 persons.
• To make sure all mechanical site commissioning activities in progress as per commissioning schedule.
• Reviewing mechanical procedures
• Testing and commissioning equipment to verify it is working according to its factory design specification.
• Reporting to Commissioning Manager weekly and monthly site commissioning update progress.
• Performs various mechanical testing according to approved inspection test plan (ITP)
My responsibility is to ensure effective methods of service, design and retrofitting equipment to improve maintainability, maintenance of technical problems, take appropriate action, correction and improvement repairs.

EPC commissioning for a 2400 MW simple cycle power plant. Commenced with system commissioning through simple-cycle completion of 15 x 160 MW GE 7FA units. The plant consist of close cooling water, black start diesel generators, fuel gas compressors, fuel oil unloading/storage/forwarding, air compressors and other typical simple cycle BOP.
• Overall responsibility of the Mechanical commissioning activities.
• Responsible for the motivation and development for 17 persons.
• Testing and commissioning equipments to verify it is working according to its factory design specification.
• Reviewing mechanical procedures.
• Reporting to Commissioning Manager
• Preparing project status reports to Commissioning Manager and provide project updates on activities weekly and monthly.
• Coordinating with other disciplines (Piping, Equipment, Steel structure, Civil and Scaffolding)
Direct responsible for operation staff, 12 GE GT frame 7EA 12 x 70 MW simple cycle units through to performance operation of the plant and handover to client.
• Overall responsibility of the Operation team.
• Responsible for the motivation and development for 21 persons.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety
policies, laws and regulations.
• Supervise operations team members to insure that they perform all
of the duties necessary to safety and efficiently operate the plant
equipment, meet dispatch and availability requirements and
complete all required reports.
• Ensure that the LOTO is effective and maintained.
• Continue the improvement and implementation of the operator
qualification courses, book and manuals for all systems.
• work closely with maintenance team to keep the plant with good
performance and operation.
As a construction engineer responsibility of the completion a construction project for 12 GE GT'S frame 7EA estimating, planning and controlling the project costs, visually inspect the site work and performed giving report to engineering department to modifying the mechanical drawings.
• Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical
components, equipment, and machinery.
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products
such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation,
and/or repair of mechanical products.
My responsibility to lead the production operators and to make sure that the operator is monitoring the plant without any failure or wrong operation which can trip the plant. responsible to constantly monitor all activities and communications of the emergency situation, to remaining calm and continue to perform the functions during a shutdown and take necessary steps to secure for all members staff and power plant from any majority problem.
• To make sure the operator on the startup and shut down plant
under normal conditions as well as under emergency conditions is
able to operate.
• Troubleshooting expertise and diagnostics the problem.
• To insure during an emergency situation that contingency plan is
always ready to put into place the power plant.
• Implements shutdown, isolation, depressurizing and cleaning
procedures as required for maintenance and equipment repairs.
