"West African Gas Pipeline" Project: Responsible for all the onshore and port logistics operations of the project.
• I have managed the stevedoring operations, transport activities, Cargo and Pipe lashing, tallying, staff management and invoicing.
• I made sure QHSE requirements are fulfilled.
• I have designed with my mechanical and engineering background special trailers for safe reception; securing and handling of PPE coated pipes (20 inch, 18", and 13" sizes of pipes)
• Supervised all transport activities to intermediate site for cement coating and resending to the Port: total of 101, 000 pipes moved in 15 months safely, with 24 hours and 15 months operations at onshore and port of Tema.
• Trained staff: stevedores, lashing team, 45 heavy duty truck drivers and admin clerks, i ensured all SOP and project HSE plans are implemented.
