1. Manages a team of project controllers, document controllers, cost estimators, procurement engineers, construction specialist, multi-disciplinary engineers & designers, etc.

6. Focal point of contact with Client, Engineering Consultants, PMC, Sub-contractors, etc. on matters related to implementation of project. Manage and co-ordinate with workshare office / High Value Engineering (HVE) located remotely for the execution of the project activities. Communicate with, negotiate with and influence stakeholders / shareholders
7. Participate in ITT development, Technical & Commercial Bid Evaluation and bidder / sub-contractor selection. Award the bid to technically acceptable & commercially lowest bidder / sub-contractor. Strong commercial negotiation skills
8. Plans, directs & supervises the activities of the involved personnel / contractors / sub-contractors / vendors / suppliers.
9. Effectively manage the overall project manpower / resource and improve productivity.
10. Compliance with requirements of the contract and project execution plan. Experience in lump sum and reimbursable projects.
11. Execute the work in accordance with the applicable project procedures and standards.
12. Identify the project risks at beginning of the project, develop the risk treatment plan and monitor the risks throughout the project. Implement the lessons learnt from previous projects.
13. Ensuring all the HSE & Quality objectives and legal requirements are observed. Maintains HSE focus within the team & ensure HSE & Quality requirements are strictly adhered during different phases of the project
14. Manage and coordinate multi-discipline engineering (process, mechanical, materials & corrosion, piping, onshore / subsea pipelines, offshore structural, civil, electrical, instrumentation, HSE, safety & risk) procurement, construction, commissioning & start-up activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective & timely manner. Promotes use of latest technology.
15. Organise & participate in Project Risk Workshop, Lessons Learnt workshop, Design Reviews, PEER Review, HAZID / ENVID / OHID, HAZOP, Safety Integrity Level (SIL), E-HAZOP / SAFOP (SYSOP, SAFAN & OPTAN), 3D Model Reviews, Constructability Review, Value Engineering, SIMOPS, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), VAP workshops (Cost Optimization Review (COR), Contracting Strategy, Design to capacity, Predictive Maintenance study & workshop, value engineering, Energy Optimization Study, CESAR, IPR-3, IPA, etc.), PHSER, HSEIA, Independent Project Review (IPR) for ADNOC, etc. Responsible for directing and closing out all action points arising as part of the workshops.
16. Reviews and approves change orders. Notifies affected personnel of all changes
17. Prepare weekly & monthly reports for customer and to senior managment
18. Ensuring the invoices are issued and payments are received on time and ensure positive cashflow

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•FEED and Detailed Engineering experience of Rotating Equipment’s in the consultancy field related to Oil & Gas both upstream & downstream and onshore & offshore
•Executed the work in accordance with the project procedures and standards
•Design / selection of rotating equipment’s such as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, fire water pump package, instrument air treatment package, chemical injection package, nitrogen generation package, Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) crane, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, etc.
•Prepare and review design basis, data sheets and technical specifications for the above equipment’s
•Prepare and review material requisitions for the defined mechanical equipment. Issue material requisitions for enquiry, order placement and for any subsequent revisions
•Detailed Engineering of the above equipment and interfacing with other disciplines
•Preparation of technical bid evaluations. Review vendor’s quotations, prepare technical evaluation and recommend the final technically acceptable vendor
•Hold vendor co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings to establish full understanding of scope of supply
•Review of P&IDs, data sheets, drawings and vendor drawings / documents
•Carry out the following functions relative to vendor documentation as:
•Review document requirements and issue dates for major equipment with vendors at the pre-order meeting
•Distribute supplier documentation to the various engineering and drawing office groups and co-ordinate their comments. Prepare consolidated comments and return these to the supplier
•Identify major slippages and their causes and propose corrective action. Also resolve all policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups
•Correspond with the vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary.
•Review relevant project design work and in particular:
•Engineering Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s, etc., with reference to assigned equipment
•Piping Layouts and Model with reference to assigned equipment
•Participated in the HAZOP of Flow Diagrams. Assess the process hazards to eliminate/reduce or mitigate risks to personnel, assets and environment
PROJECTS:
GASCO - As-Built Verification Update of ASAB 1 Plant (HAZOP)
•Participated in the HAZOP of Flow Diagrams. Assess the process hazards to eliminate / reduce or mitigate risks to personnel, assets and environment
•Worked on PHA PRO (HAZOP software) to input the data into the software and generate the final report for client action
•Identify all the causes, consequences, safeguards and recommendations for each deviation
•Identify the severity and likelihood for each deviation
ZADCO - Potable Water & Sewage Treatment Plant Project (Pre-FEED)
•Prepared mechanical basis of design
•Adequacy study of the existing equipment’s, pump selection criteria and material handling report
