• Provides health teachings to patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and medications ordered for the patient.

• Communicates with medical staff and physicians for referrals on the current status of the patient.

• Performs aseptic procedures like Nasogastric Tube insertion, Urinary catheter insertion, Oral, Tracheostomy and Endotracheal suctioning.

• Administer medications ordered orally, inhalations, injections (SQ, IM, IV sites), rectal (suppository) and topical.
