• Carries out the responsibility for safety and health as defined in the safety and health manual.
• Studies repair requirements as defined in the reference sheets, inspects jobs at site and clarifies with the project manager in the preparing in the work plan.
• Delegates jobs to supervisors and plans the manpower required for the jobs in accordance with the budgeted manhours provided by the project managers.
• Supervises the ongoing works and activities of the Chargehand together with the Leadman/Foreman, and inspected the quality of work as based on the established standards.
• Coordinates with the project team for the assistance they needed and resolves the problems encountered by the other supervisors.
• Raises and approves issue passes for materials and equipments required for the jobs.
• Ensures that all safety procedures, rules and regulations are complied, including the application of work permit and periodic checks on housekeeping and safety equipment used in the section shop.
• Attends the daily vessel safety coordination committee meeting and discusses the status of the work through Production Progress Report.
• Prepares the Work Acceptance Report detailing the works that have done, including the materials and duration of work, with the signature of the Section Head, Project Manager, and the attending Owner Representative.
