• Ensure that all interfaces between SSEM and other Contractors and Client are identified, documented and managed during all stages and phases of the project; detailed engineering design, procurement, construction and Pre-commissioning, start-up.
• Major contributor in the preparation and consistency of the following deliverable’s; Packages, Basis of Design, Project Execution Plan, Project Schedule, Project Quality Plan, Functional System Specifications, Statement of Requirements, Equipment Data Sheets, Factory Acceptance Testing, Material Take-Off’s, Vendor Document Manuals, As-built Documents.
• Interfaces between new and existing equipment: Flow rate, pressure & temperature, Design stress, Physical location such as pipe routings, Instrument/electrical interfaces.
• General Interfaces associated with: Package delivery at point of interfaces, Interface Tie-ins, Project schedule impact/construction plan for interface scope, contracting issues for interface elements, Infrastructure clashes, permits.
• Ensure development and maintenance of an overall Interface Management Plan and Register for projects/packages covering all identified and potential interfaces, along with the relationship/references relative to is activities as per the contract.
• Supporting Project Manager in resolving all interfaces between SSEM, Contractors, sub-contractors and clients.
• Ensures from a point of interface perspective that technical integrity and HSE requirements are met cost effectively throughout the development cycle;
• Status of interface activities between the different projects to ensure that all interface related requirements are met during detailed engineering design and according to the Project milestone schedule and completion priorities.
• This position has functional management responsibility for the project processes, tools and systems in these areas, including the development, management and enhancement of Interface Management Software System including guidelines, procedures, roll out programs and training
• Manage the development and use of Interface documents, systems, diagrams, matrices etc. and coordinate completion of agreed deliverables.
• Supporting the Interface Manager in preparing communications and instructions to designated Sub-contractors and another BI’s in accordance with the Works Contract Administration Procedures.
• Overseeing construction and testing & commissioning activities of designated contracts at designated sites/ areas of responsibility.
• Facilitating interfaces at designated sites, including interfaces between designated contractors and adjacent contractors, including Principal Contractors.
• Completing daily reports; keeping the Construction Manager informed of contract and site progress & performance.
• Supporting the Project Manager in managing key stakeholder relationships in coordination with the contractor and community relations officers; monitoring contractors' compliance with relevant Commitments.
• Providing constructability input during review of contractor/engineering submissions.
• Reviewing the contractor's works and liaising with the contractor and others as required to facilitate execution of the works.
• Monitoring contractor’s compliance with contractual requirements regarding mobilization and logistics.
• Providing support to the Project Field Engineer / Construction Manager in monitoring contractor compliance with the Construction Quality Plan.
• The review and acceptance of Sub-Contractor submittals as allocated.
• The implementation of the Review and Acceptance of Safe Systems of Work Procedure.
- Studying/verifying the proposal documents such as drawings, specifications, and schedule for scope of work finalization

- Visit site and record information
- Reviewing vendors quotations to determine the best prices. Prepare comparative analyses related to specs, price, delivery conditions and the way of transportation.
