Heading the Supply Chain function and responsible for procurement, distribution and warehousing operations worth
52 million USD. Also responsible for developing and managing a team of over 100 members to achieve key strategic
business objectives and delivering top/bottom line growth plans. Main responsibilities include:

• Effective sourcing of raw materials and engineering spares to maximize profitability and decrease variable cost
• Ensuring raw material availability through effective demand forecasting and monitoring production plans
• Managing operating working capital, revenue and budgeting for the overall Supply Chain function

Responsible for maintaining rotary and stationary equipment of the utilities plant in a safe and reliable
manner. Main responsibilities include troubleshooting, investigating equipment failures, vibration analyses,
preventive maintenance, developing and implementing capital and reliability improvement plans, condition
monitoring, oil analysis and training and development of maintenance team. Major assignments completed during this role are:
• Implemented condition monitoring and reliability audit system in the power and services areas.
• Prepared reliability improvement plans for critical equipment and implemented them in SAP.
• Ensured inspection and maintenance of pressure vessels as a nominated Pressure Systems Engineer.
• Performed failure analysis of major breakdowns and incorporated recommendations for the same.
• Developed maintenance and capital expense plans for rotary and stationary equipment.
• Conducted major overhauling of Typhoon and Solar Centaur T40 gas turbines.
• Carried out HP blade life enhancement project on Typhoon gas turbine.
• Carried out boiler refurbishment and tube replacement project of16 tph boiler.
• Planned and executed overhauling of screw compressors and positive displacement blowers.

Involved in designing, cost estimation, feasibility analysis and execution of various projects at the polyester
plant. Was also responsible for generating and completing work packs, conducting daily maintenance
planning and scheduling, executing shutdowns and managing manpower and maintenance contracts.
Major assignments completed during this role were:
• Steered plant maintenance module of SAP and created and updated task lists and functional locations.
• Designed and fabricated flash vessels according to ASME section VIII for optimizing steam system.
• Designed and fabricated warehouse structures and performed stress analysis using Ansys.
• Conceptualized and made solar water heating system for the administration building of the site.
• Performed reliability analysis and calculated Mean Time to Repair and Total Availability of critical units.
• Planned and executed major shutdowns of the plant.
• Prepared work packs, arranged support and issued status / deviation reports for the shutdowns.
• Steered daily maintenance planning & scheduling meetings and planned daily maintenance activities.

Ensured maximum availability of plant by conducting predictive and preventive maintenance of the equipment. Supported maintenance manager in meeting the departmental KPIs. Also conducted various
