Post: Offshore Division (Senior Group Support Specialist):

-Following up Ex-Factory dates: (Readiness) of units being exported.
-Managing and verifying all necessary documents ahead of L\Cs issuance: Revising tenders, quotation, contracts, proforma invoices, import permit applications, and import regulations to ensure consistency and validity.
-L\Cs Assessing upon issuance: Issuing any amendment(s) if necessary.
-Coordinating with forwarders entitled to carry outout shipments to importing countries.
-Preparing for shipments: Managing bookings for export shipments processed; after obtaining vessel(s) schedules and freight quotations from forwarders.
-Processing shipping documents: Preparing and processing all shipping Documents required for bank presentations under the credit instrument (B/L, AWB, Commercial Invoices, Combined Certificates of Value and Origin 'CCVO', C/O, Inspection Certificates, Test Certificates, Insurance certificates, Packing and Weight Lists, Beneficiarys' Certificates, Manufacturers Certificate of Productions, Euro One Certificate…etc.), and proceeding with all shipping Instructions, port marks and all mandatory instructions needed for the shipment.
-Acquiring and revising shipping documents: drafts of original shipping documents required for clearance and presentation are reviewed ahead of final issuance of originals. Obtaining originals to meet up with deadlines for each shipment, as well as Credit terms and instructions.
-Bank Presentation: all required documents are well prepared, revised and submitted for bank presentation.
-Receivables follow up: Following up maturity dates for presented documents amounts subject to collection. Bank credit advices, break down charges analysis, and reporting the actual net amounts received. Vs. negotiated and agreed bank charges, commissions and fees.
-After sales customer support and handling.
-Import L/Cs: responsible for preparing & handling documents required for L/C issuance.
-Export L/Cs.
-Free Zone L/Cs: handling all FZ L/Cs.
-Documentary collections (CAD): responsible for processing shipping documents till presenting them to the nominated bank, following up amounts to be credited.
-Dealing with Caterpillar S.A.R.L (Switzerland) Caterpillar Inc. (USA), DHL worldwide; other local and international Forwarder and Communicating with advising banks (Barclays UK, Deutsche UK, Standard Chartered UK, UBA NY, HSBC EG, NSGB EG & CIB EG.) for export to Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Sierra Leone, And Iraq.
-Handling Insurance applications and records.
-Reasonable knowledge of Unified Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits UCPDC 500/600 issued and published by the International chamber of commerce.
-Reasonable knowledge of International Standard Bank Practices ISBP 645/681 issued and published by the International chamber of commerce.
-Reasonable knowledge of URC 522 issued and published by the International chamber of commerce.
-Reasonable knowledge of URR 525 issued and published by the International chamber of commerce.
