Nationwide upgrade of the Etisalat 3G network to support DC HSPA 42.
Project Manager from the Operation for the Deployment of LTE network in the UAE (eNodeBs).
Maintain awareness of Network activities i.e. Work Orders, Planned work, hazard and outages.
Supervise and develop direct Subordinates. Provide guidelines and best practice processes for team members.
Plan the deployment of new software releases/patches received from suppliers/contractors.
Maintain records of all Network interfaces. Coordinate proper documentation of all operational activities as per ISO procedures.
Member of 3G experts’ team supported UMTS project in Zain Kuwait, performing all UTRAN related hardware and software upgrades for the Network to support HSPA (3.6/1.4) from R99 network.
Key Accomplishments
Deployment of Zain Kuwait 3G Network that covers more than 1000 Sites, all with HSPA Capability.
Design and Maintain the RNC Database and generate automated Scripts for defining new Sites, neighbors, RNC expansion, etc..
Participate in the Development of the RNC in terms of Parameter optimization.
Responsible for the Network Health of 5 RNCs.
Provide technical recommendations for setting Counter Formulas for Radio KPIs.
Monitor RNC performance in Major Events (EID, New Year, ..).
Led a team of 4 3G Engineers supporting the First UMTS Network Of Huawei Technologies in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East with R99/R4 capabilities.
