Domain/Client: BFS / ADCE (Amstelveen Data Centre Exit): Client Description: Client RBS Group is a Prominent International Bank based out of UK. It has presence in all major lines of business which are aligned across Transaction Banking, Global Markets and Asset Management
Project Summary: Data centers of RBS N.V. located in Amstelveen, the Netherlands was separated physically from data centers of ABN AMRO N.V. for legal reasons. RBS Group moved RBS N.V. Data Centre to Edinburgh and to Stone, located in the United Kingdom. Data center contained test environments and a production environment. The test environments were migrated to Stone and the new production environment was installed in Edinburgh. ADCE program facilitated the move and its testing along with few new functionality for regional payments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Requirement Understanding and Analysis of all the all existing applications of RBS.
• Proactive Identification and Reporting of Risks and Issues along with validation of entries in database.
• Co-ordination for Resolution of Risks and Issues
• Test Data Preparation and execution
• End-to-end test scenario and test case writing and execution.
• Defect raising and defect tracking (using QC)
• Daily Co-Ordination with Onsite Co-ordinators and client BA.
• Test Documentation and estimations of New Change Requests.
