• Manage the performance of general accounting functions, including payroll, Budget, accounts payable, and Review SEC payment/purchase orders and ensure that they are supplied with all required information and signatures
• Maintains budget for specified funds in the accounting system
• Analyzes transaction data for the purpose of budget variances, compiling statistical information.
• Reconciles the General Ledger with other systems
• Follow up on discrepancies in General ledger accounts, and serves as liaison between Departments in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries.
• Manages the process for preparing and verification of the monthly payroll
• Supervises the timely preparation of payroll transactions accurately to set deadlines in accordance with financial policies and procedures

• Verifies and approves all monthly journal entries including the accrual of benefits

• Prepares monthly accruals, trial balance
