• Job Description:
I am leading a team of 8 personnel with the association of them I manage the following functional areas including Accounting, internal financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable.
• Manage the accounting process to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure control environment and procedures are followed for SOX compliance
• Provide interface with internal and external auditors and implement agreed upon recommendations.
• Provide key input on process improvement of project & operation finance.
• Responsible for ensuring key processes and internal controls are in place and operating effectively for the financial close and reporting cycle
• Supervision of all bills & Vouchers including purchases, Expenses, and proceed for payment.
• Review cash & cheque payment requests and ensure they are In line with the payments policy.
• Review &posting of all vouchers related to accounts payable and closing.
• Liaise with operations to obtain inputs on all standard and management reports
• Assist senior finance management in revenue calculation
• Assist senior finance management in explaining fluctuations in actual results compared with budgets and prior periods
• Assist operations team in all finance related queries including operations amendment forms and purchase requisition approvals
• Supervision & control over payable and periodically analysis to know the ageing, provision.
• Month-end closing
• Support annual budget and monthly forecast process
• Ability to manage critical deadlines and adjust work schedules accordingly
• Responsible for monthly closing, coordination and process Assist Operations with annual budget models and monthly explanations of variances
• Supervises the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement including schedules.
• Preparation of Hyperion data for management
