Training and auditing for Sustainable Development programs in various industries of Eastern Europe, Central and South Asia. I have traveled more than 30 countries by now.
Responsibilities include conducting audits for Organic and Fair-Trade
Certifications in the textile industry of Pakistan and abroad. I am also
responsible for coordination of all company activities between
Pakistan and Switzerland office.
This part time job included working with FTIR Spectroscopy and Microscopy to find out the effectiveness of a dry cleaning process on nano-scale level. This study was conducted in collaboration with Happy & Co. Ltd., Japan and Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
Looking at all the aspects of this small size company was at the core of this job. Making plans for marketing and sales, managing finances and calculating costs to workout the feasibility of different alternatives.
During the internship period of three months I was given the task of conducting market research for evaluating the gap between the expectations of the customers and the products and services delivered by Bata Pakistan Ltd. I also worked on various Bata Retail Stores for the enhancement of sales.
This part time job included conducting coaching classes of the course, “Decision Making in Technical Environment” for MBA Executive students. Checking assignments and quizzes and compiling results were in addition to it.
Making production plans including Knitting, Dyeing, Cutting and Stitching
plans for orders of international buyers like Levis, Gap, Nike, Antigua etc. Compiling monthly “Garment Closing Report” and bi-annually “Trend Analysis Report” to calculate the effectiveness and efficiency of the factory was also included in my responsibilities.
Passed some extra courses of Textile Technology also. Worked in the University for two months on FTIR Spectroscopy and Microscopy.
Masters of Business Administration with majors in TQM and MIS. Gold Medalist with a CGPA of three point five eight out of four.
Bachelors of Textile Technology and Management with majors in Garment Manufacturing Technology and Weaving with a CGPA of three point seven nine out of four.
