I have spent a few months in the role of department administrator and was later transferred to HR.
HR responsibilities: (HRBP)
-Work very closely with all departments within the company mainly as a consultancy role to ensure proper understanding and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Implementation of policies such as disciplinary policies, leave policy, performance management and other related policies.
-Heavily involved in candidate interviewing and selection
- Partially involved in advising on pay, remuneration, promotions and other benefits.
- Involved in employee onboarding process as well as offboarding (terminations/suspensions)
- Involved in monthly salary letter preparation for ministry requirements
- Partially involved in career management
- Handling all staff leaves/absences (record keeping, applying disciplinary actions)
- Conducting New Hire Orientation for new comers
- Heavily involved in investigating cases and creating reports for final decision making
- Promote diversity and equality among the workforce
- Ensuring legal compliance in accordance with both local labor law and company policies
- Employee personal file management
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/ online courses
