Responsibilities:
Based in Bahrain, leading the Finance function for the Fire & Security business and managing the financial operations in Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and reporting directly to the regional headquarters for EMEA in Brussels.
Executed & managed the organizational set up after UTC acquisition of GE business in the region.
Support monthly closing activities, Weekly Business forecasts, and Operation reviews
Recommend and influence needed actions to maximize cash, profitability and risk management
Lead region controllership initiatives in areas such as local tax and statutory compliance, account reconciliations, SOX, and simplification projects
Partner with Operation teams and Region GM to drive profitable growth and meet region targets providing insight and decision making support
Responsible for the finance function for the fire & security business in the Middle East & Africa
Involved in setting up the operational & legal structure of our organization in the MEA region.

Summary of responsibilities:
Head of the Finance & IT function and reporting directly to the MD.
Responsible for planning, monitoring, management and reporting of business and financial strategy
Talented leader directing highly skilled financial management team to support achievement of overall corporate goals and objectives
Leads the management team in the preparation of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies
Contributes to the achievement of the company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
Oversees all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company
Meet with the Tetra Pak Group management regularly to keep them informed and to offer direction
Review reports and analyze projections of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process
In conjunction with the management team, assess the long term financial trends and review prospects for future growth of income and new product areas
To ensure the Company meets its financial and legal responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the financial and accounting policies, procedures and controls in line with locally and internationally accepted practices and standards securing and safeguarding the interest and integrity of the financial records to the stakeholders
Set the departments objectives, KPIs and Operational plans
Responsible to lead the implementation of good financial management systems by maximizing the cash flow and earnings, optimizing the capital structure, and minimizing risk exposure.
SUMMARY:
Managed financial management functions including development of monthly/quarterly financial statements, financial forecasts, and budgets
Part of the SAP implementation team and successfully guided the finance function through turbulent implementation of SAP
Work with the top management on analyzing ways and means to improve productivity ratio and return on capital ratio.
Responsible for the financial reporting to head office in Lausanne. Expert knowledge of IFRS ensuring strict compliance.
Drive the budgeting process
Handle the collection and dissemination of financial data, perform trend analysis, and provide management reporting
Planned and implemented a successful pricing strategy to increase the total revenue by 15%
Developed and implemented a strategy to convert an unprofitable prepaid service into profitable postpaid service.
