Actively involved in Process Safety in Plant.
•Provide identification and corrective action to related safety issues and hazards at the facility.
• Implement safety programs at the facility to meet regulatory compliance and company goals, develop engineering practices and designs to facilitate these programs.
• Represent the company in a positive working relationship with federal state, and local regulatory agencies
• Perform emergency response duties as required by the emergency response plan and participate in practice drills, plan reviews, employee safety committee meetings and is responsible for performing safety-related inspections and audits with appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain and update safety, fleet and substance abuse programs on an on-going basis.

• Identify safety training needs, organize and co-ordinate safety training courses and prepare training material where appropriate
• Attend the weekly HSE meeting with client and all other contractors and sub-contractors
• Evaluate incident forms, surveys, audits to establish root causes and together with Supervisors concerned, formulate a plan of action to correct non-compliant behavior or conditions
• Liaise with on site contractors to ensure their compliance with Company safety regulations and adherence to safety standards, including basic safety induction training
• Conduct surveys and audits as required to identify and minimize the risk to company and employees
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards, investigate root causes and identify corrective and preventative actions and report to management
• Co-ordinate at least two evacuation exercises per year to ensure that all staff become familiar with these procedures.
• Ensuring the legal requirements for health and safety in the KSA is maintained in the workplace
• Ensuring safe systems of work are in place
• Working knowledge of all site specialist work rules
• Understand the principles of risk assessments and method statement
• Ergonomics, industrial hygiene and safety technology. NEBOSH programs and compliance abatement.
• Work on safety committees or as a safety adviser in an organization. Safety activities of others, which requires management or supervisory experience; manufacturing, warehousing, and food processing.
• Coordinates with architects, engineers, and construction managers to discuss safety precautions and requirements, recommendations, and code analysis
• Monitors workers' compensation program, oversees investigations, analyzes trends to identify problem areas, and recommends action to reduce risk and financial loss.
