• Started distribution for Retail Franchise Stores, this will enable the right sizes with the right quantity at the right stores.
• To ensure proper planning and setting of standards to achieve maximum sale with a minimum stock with a benchmark of maximum 15 weeks’ season end chain stock.
• To ensure store article level seasonal planning and co-ordinate with merchandising with regard the requirement.
• To maintain a continuous flow of merchandising information to and from the stores and most importantly to the warehouse.
• To manage replenishment by route plan and follow dispatches at warehouse.
• To review merchandising reports and sales statistics (S.I.R. Store Report etc.) and take merchandising action such as: -
o Ship additional supply to stores either by statement supply; special order or pre-pack.
o Advise revision of assortment according to requirement.
o Transfer goods from store to store as per business requirement; within geographical cluster.
o Monitor and follow-up with the efficiency of merchandise movement from the warehouse to the stores.
• To ensure that stock levels are in accordance to sales volume and the store stockroom capacity.
• To ensure target stock margins in-order to enable the store to achieve the desired sales margin.
• To ensure that end of life lines or seasonal items at central warehouse are distributed to the store during peak periods.
• To ensure that ends of life lines are regrouped to performing stores.
• To ensure all merchandise picked are sent to the stores on time.
• Carry out minimum 2 regrouping exercises per annum with at least 40% adherence rate
• Ensure that the aged stock in RDC is 6 months ageing
• Ensure >90% Full assortment available.
• Analysing the forecast accuracy with respect to the aligned stock and aligned sale and work on TOP 10 (frontrunner) article for all divisions at RDC/CDC level along with the category heads and RMS based on the historical/seasonal trends and different market scenarios.
• Align the suggested forecast with the help of S&OP meeting and Nodal meeting with Sales team.
• Analysing the last month forecast error through MAPE and TS and sharing with all category heads of all Divisions.
• Taking care of overselling and underselling articles and discussing the same with all stake holders to align forecast
• Collecting the demand of NPD articles and align the SKU master & forecast accordingly in mid-month forecast review meeting.
• Preparing the sale loss and production compliance for all plants and share with all stakeholders.
• Analysing inventory and preparing the slob after every six months at RDC/CDC level for Pan India and initiate the material call back.
• Preparing the SKU wise stock availability report on weekly basis and sharing with all the stakeholders.
• Analysing the weekly production and escalating the delays to PPC team & get the maximum production output as per the FC for maintaining the ideal inventory level.
• Preparing the SKU wise stock transfer orders on daily basis to make the availability of stock at all RDCs.
• Close coordination with the transportation and warehouse team for timely dispatches to fulfil the demand.
• Ensuring the availability of space in RDCs for planned stocking.
• Providing stock at regional warehouses as per the monthly sales forecast and supply balance to minimise the RDC sale loss.
•Taking care of entering and editing of the Order, including Change order, Credit and Invoicing in SAP-SD
•Taking Care of Distribution of tires in western India and responsible for 15 Distribution centers including availability of stock, Transport service, manpower and infrastructure.
•Bridging the gap between Sales and planning team for lost orders, any shortfall and stock transfer from one DC to another.
•Effectively resolve escalated issues and complete root cause analysis, when appropriate, in order to prevent future occurrences.
