My role at VOX Cinemas, encompasses consulting the Head of Human Capital in HR matters pertaining to manpower planning, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, and review of existing Standard Operating Procedures.

Projects handled
• Job descriptions - Creation, updation and review of job descriptions across all departments, using the Hays evaluation methodology, and aligned to the rapid expansion of VOX business across the MENA region.
• Change management - Support the Head of Human Capital with change management process in Oman, with revised organization structures, aligning and standardization of the job roles.
• New market entry - Support the new market entry in Qatar by:
o Sourcing and hiring of a Human Capital Manager for Qatar, Bahrain & Kuwait.
o Researched Doha market to identify recruitment partners, accommodation and transport partners for staff.
o Support the recruitment team with staffing, to ensure seamless opening of cinema in first week of April, 2017.
• Review of existing processes and SOPs for recruitment, from sourcing till onboarding, creation of templates, checklists, documentation and advert libraries.
• Expression of Interest (Internal hiring) for Cinema Supervisors.
• Recruitment - Successfully filled in vacancies of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Human Capital Manager - Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, Restaurant Managers for VIP fine dining concepts in the Cinemas.
• OHI - Interpretation and presentation of OHI results, and creation of action plan for improving OHI scores.
• Rewards and Recognition - Preparation of a framework for Rewards and recognition program for VOX.

Talent Acquisition Manager at Landmark Group

My role at Lifestyle Gulf, encompasses managing the talent acquisition function for the company across 13 territories in the GCC and MENA region. It involves strategic sourcing of the right talent for key roles, building and managing a talent pool, to help deliver the business objectives and improve overall performance. Lead a team of 1 Senior Recruiter and 1 Recruitment Assistant, as well as work with Talent Management team for internal talent pool identification, creation and development.

Significant Achievements
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment right from vacancy creation to candidate on-boarding. Filled in 400+ positions (junior, mid and senior management) within a span of 1 year and 10 months.
• Successfully work with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to channelize the recruitment process.
• Reduced the cost of hire by 50%, by developing alternate sourcing channels, thereby reducing the dependency on recruitment agencies.
• Reduced the hiring time to 15 working days for junior to mid-level positions, and 30 to 45 working days for senior management positions.
• Introduced Employee Referral Program, successfully resulting in 40 hires since its start.
• Increased the ratio of direct hires vis-à-vis agencies to 50% in FY 2013-14, and 67% in FY 2014-15.
• Created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Talent Acquisition Process and Overseas Recruitment Process. Creating a Recruitment Manual comprising guidelines, checklists, Interview questionnaires, competency based interview guides, technical tests and assignments for each role.
• Worked on a project to create a Human Capital Assessment Program (HCAP) for internal Talent Identification, Development and Management.

Employee Relations - Counsel and coach employees on complex employee relations issues and serve as a resource to prevent and/or facilitate conflict resolution.
Performance Management & Development
• Created the Performance Appraisal system at UHRS, and conduct quarterly appraisals to identify and enhance the work quality of team members.
• Work cohesively to develop career path strategies to enhance employee retention and satisfaction, as well as preparing the organization for future resource needs
• Devised an Induction program, encompassing company orientation, recruitment methods, sourcing techniques, interviewing skills, client relationship management and industry scenario.
Significant Achievements
• Recruitment Process Enhancement through investing in specialized recruitment software -HireCraft resulting in quick searches, time saving and increasing productivity by 40%.
• Instrumental in project planning and campaign management for high volume recruitment.
• Opened up a new division for Overseas Recruitment in the year 2010 by identifying associates in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The overseas recruitment contribution to total recruitment had increased significantly from 4% in 2010 to 26% in 2011 to 30% in 2012.
