As the Commercial Manager in the Organisation, I am reporting to the Area Manager as well as Commercial director, and monitoring and controlling the daily activities of the commercial department including but not limited to the following;
• Contract administration and commercial management of all projects in the region
• Correspondences with Employer as well as Subcontractors
• Preparation and submission of Interim Payment Application
• Preparation and submission of Variations and Claims in accordance with Contract terms and conditions
• Review, Evaluate and Certification of Subcontractor Payments


Major projects involved during tenure are:

• Araqa & Ojeh Palace Perimeter Security System including Control Room & Data Center construction.
• Rosa Farm Security Systems.
• Riyadh Metro-Alstom Line 4, 5 & 6 Fibre Optic, MV & FTR Cable, & Cable Trays Installation.
• Riyadh Metro, Line 3, Selex MV Cable Works
• Riyadh Metro, Line 1 & 2, BACS Fire Alarm System

As the Contract Administration Manager in the Organisation, I was reporting to the Contracts & Commercial Director, and was monitoring and controlling the daily activities of the Commercial department including but not limited to the following;
• Contract administration and commercial management works for all the projects in the organization.
• Drafting letters to the Contractor and the Engineer.
• Attending weekly progress meeting and heading commercial meetings.
• Reviewing and approving EOT claims from the Contractor.
• Procurement of new contracts.
• Preparing amicable settlements and memos for the internal approvals for the same.


Major projects involved during tenure are:

• Al Khobar Lakes development project comprises of 486 villas distributed over village 1 & 2 with associated infrastructure, hard and soft landscape works.
• Design, execution, and completion of boundary roads 9 & 65 project under Jeddah Gate development, (SAR 11.23 Million) including all associated works.
• Lot E8, E9 & E10 (Emaar Square) project (SAR 150 Million) consisting of three midrise office buildings with common basement parking and associated soft and hard landscape works in King Abdullah Road, Jeddah, KSA.
• Lot E3 project (SAR 250 Million) consisting of 305 apartments in 3 towers with common podium retail space and basement car parking in King Abdullah Road, Jeddah, KSA
• Lot E5 project (SAR 334 Million) consisting of 308 apartments in 3 towers with common podium retail space and basement car parking in King Abdullah Road, Jeddah, KSA

As the Q.S Manager in the organisation, I was reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and was working as post contract Q.S with major responsibilities of overall management of the QS department and post contract administration works in the project including but not limited to the following;
• Payment applications, variations claim and payment certifications of the subcontractors.
• Contractual correspondences on the Project to Employer and Subcontractors
• Preparation of cost control report.
• Preparing Cost Value Reconciliation enabling to identify the variances and cost at completion.
• Review, analyse and approve subcontractor variations and claims.


Major projects involved during tenure were:

• Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residence project (SAR 1.8 Billion) for GOSI in Exit 8, North Ring Road, Riyadh, KSA
• SEC HQ facilities projects (SAR 65 Million) for SEC in Exit 8, North Ring Road, Riyadh, KSA
• GOSI Office Park & Housing project (SAR 1.6 Billion) for GOSI in Exit 8, North Ring Road, Riyadh, KSA

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the organisation, I was reporting to the Planning & Cost Control Manager and was working as post contract Q.S with major responsibilities of overall management of the QS department and post contract administration works in the project including but not limited to the following;
• Payment applications, variations claim and payment certifications of the subcontractors.
• Preparation of budget for the project and getting it approved from PM. Monitoring the cost incurred and comparing it against the budget and highlighting any cost overruns
• Contractual correspondences on the Project to Employer and Subcontractors
• Preparing Cost Value Reconciliation enabling to identify the variances and cost at completion.
• Review, analyse and approve subcontractor variations and claims.


Major projects involved during tenure were:

• Cradle Plant Project and miscellaneous projects (SAR 306 Million) for Almarai Company in Al Kharj, Riyadh, KSA

• GUFF2-Juice Factory Project (SAR 28 Million) for Gulf Union Company in 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh, KSA

As the Quantity Surveyor in the organisation, I was reporting to the Sr. Contracts Manager and was working as post contract Q.S with major responsibilities of post contract administration works in the project including but not limited to the following;
• Procurement of various subcontract packages and preparation of subcontract agreements
• Contract administration of projects
• Post contract quantity surveying including valuation, variations and payment certifications of subcontractors
• Contractual correspondences for the different Projects.


Major projects involved during tenure were:

• Additions & Alterations to Za’abeel Palace Main Kitchen (DHS 53 Million)

• Private Majlis at Za’abeel

• Luxury Villa at Umm Suqeim (DHS 55 Million) for HHS Majed

• Al Wasl Town Houses - 42nos Villas (DHS 75 Million) at Al Badaa Dubai

• Horse Stable Barn Buildings, Horse Stalls etc in various parts of Dubai for HH The Ruler of Dubai

As the Quantity Surveyor in the organisation, I was reporting to the Commercial Manager in the Project and was working as post contract Q.S with responsibilities of post contract administration works in the project including but not limited to the following;
• Post contract quantity surveying for various fit out packages for the project
• Preparation, submission, and getting approval on the Prelims Package which was re-measurable.
• Review, quantify, evaluate, approve and certify the payment applications of the subcontractors.



Major projects involved during tenure were:

• Mall of Emirates (DHS 700 Million) Dubai for Al Futtaim Group

• 2B + G + 19 storey Wafi Hotel & Mall (DHS 500 Million) for MKM Commercial Holdings.

As the Civil Engineer in the organisation, I was reporting to the Owner in the Organization and was working as pre and post contract Q.S with supervision of the site activities Major responsibilities in the Organization including but not limited to the following;
• Estimation for the new projects.
• Initiate Tender procedures including preparation of Tender documents and carry out tender analysis for finalizing Subcontracts.
• Carry out Rate Analysis for finalizing variations of Main Contract / Subcontracts.
• Review, quantify, evaluate, approve and certify the payment applications of the subcontractors.



Major projects involved during tenure are;

• G+3 Commercial building for M/s Fairdeal Marine Services in Fujairah, UAE.

• G+1 Villas with immaculate finishes having Swimming Pool & Water features for different Clients in various parts of Sharjah, UAE.

Overall responsibility for the Contractual, Operational & Financial issues of projects. Major areas of responsibility were.

 Exposed to estimation work for new projects and Tendering works for the subcontracts.

 Carry out Rate Analysis for finalizing variations of Main Contract / Subcontracts.

 Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and claims (Exposed to Lump sum, Re-measurable Contracts).

 Certifying payments and variations for subcontractors in accordance with the terms of the Subcontract agreement.

 Planning and executing works in the projects.

Was in charge of the extension work of building complex for a Medical College Hospital in Trivandrum, Kerala, India for the Dept of Medicine (Govt of Kerala). Project value: Rs 10.5 million

Was in charge of the construction of a G+5 Hospital Building, Trivandrum. Kerala. India. Also in charge of the construction of G+1 residential villas for various clients in various locations in Kerala, India.
