• Perla Field Early Production Project, Venezuela

Responsible for reviewing the hardware design, implementation of software and integration of the system components for 3 offshore platforms for 1200 MMscf/day gas extraction in Perla Gas Field. The systems included Allen Bradley ControlLogix (SIL 2) with 1715 I/Os, FactoryTalk SE / ME, and OTN Switches for data backbone.
• Petrocarabobo Heavy Oil Production, Venezuela

Led a team in designing of a complete Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS), consisting of ControlLogix for PCS, ControlLogix for SIL 2 SIS, Autronica for Fire & Gas, and FactoryTalk SE.

Project lead responsible for designing and implementing an ICSS for the Control Vessel of Dragon and Patao APS project. The solution consisted of Allen Bradley ControlLogix, HIMA H41q (SIL 3), FactoryTalk SE and a redundant Modbus interface with Cameron MCS for remote viewing and limited control of the subsea wells.
• Kivuwatt Phase I Gas Extraction & Facility, Rwanda

Led a team of engineers to develop, procure and implement a control system for a barge to extract methane from the gas-saturated water of Lake Kivu to generate 25 MW electricity for the local grid. The scope consisted of Allen Bradley ControlLogix, HIMA H51q, FactoryTalk SE, Instrumentation, PA/GA and fusible loops charge panel..
• Managed the E&I CAPEX of PKR 40M. Responsible for design and implementation of in-house projects
• Created accountability and better control over the inventory (PKR 112M) and fixed cost (PKR 20M), by segregating both into the respective areas, enabling area wise reporting
• Successful audits of ISO 9001 without any observations / NCs
• Successfully planned, scheduled and executed of E&I jobs for shutdown 2010
• Revised the implementation details of Group Engineering Procedures during the transition from ICI to AkzoNobel
• Successfully ensured zero downtime at the 11 KV Grid Station and PowerGen’s 7 x 2.5 MVA Daihatsu Engines

• Set up a technical training centre as a CSR project to provide vocational training to the deserving individuals of the locality

Was involved in the commissioning activities of two Turbomach T-60 Gas Turbines and WHRBs. Was part of the team ensuring that the installations were being done according to the contract, vetting all instruments calibrations and connections, testing control loops, verifying all interlocks and handshaking between the boilers and the GTs.
• Upgraded the HMI of a cutting machine from PanelMate to RSView32, and was awarded a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’
• Internship in Reservoir Evaluation Wireline - Schlumberger (May-July 2006) – Worked as a field intern in BP Oilfields at Khaskheli (Pakistan), and was assigned various tasks related to REW study. Was involved in calibration, testing and maintenance of various equipment and tools. • Internship at JGC-Descon, Lahore (June-August 2005) - Major portion of the work included designing single line diagrams and analysis (load-flow, short-circuit, motor-starting) for plants using ETAP (software). Learned to use SmartPlant Electrical (software), not previously being used there, and held a workshop for other engineers. • On Dean’s Honors List throughout the academic career at GIK Institute, scoring a GPA of 4.0 in three semesters • Participated in Freshhh2007, a competition arranged by MOL Group of Companies, and reached the 3rd Round.
