KOJ Group has own factory in RAK to manufacture store fit outs for its stores and manage fit out contractors through own project managers. Factory was opened in line with group mission to open “one store every 24 hours”. I was part of this mission and was able to successfully manage fit out project by implementing and managing through project management tools which gave greater visibility to the management on project status and cost at any given time.

KOJ Group decided to implement ERP to help grow business from 700m to 1.4b. I was involved from the start of ERP project. Helped KOJ successfully select Oracle ERP. I had good exposure on the transition and was closely involved in ERP selection, CRP, Project Management, ASIS - TO BE documentation and Process mapping, Data cleanup, Testing, Training, Pilot and Go Live and also included for After Go Live support. My role was Project and functional support to the ERP business analyst team. Additionally managed all ERP Team logistic requirements.

KOJ Group decided to modernize Point of sale systems from traditional cash register. Rolled out POS system “Active Retail” from South Africa. Active retail was decided based on its previous success with large retailer like Foschini Group with 1000 retail stores. I was involved in all aspects of rollout. As part of rollout team visited stores to capture barcodes and product information to clean data. This formed the basis for ERP later. Also Involved in many business automation projects like Biometry attendance system, Track and Trace for shipment tracking and EPM for project management etc
