KOJ Group has own factory in RAK to manufacture store fit outs for its stores and manage fit out contractors through own project managers. Factory was opened in line with group mission to open “one store every 24 hours”. I was part of this mission and was able to successfully manage fit out project by implementing and managing through project management tools which gave greater visibility to the management on project status and cost at any given time.
Responsibilities
Plan, publish & monitor all PMG projects in EPM.
Monitor the project baselines and actual.
Follow up with resource for EMP Update.
Proactively alert management on all deviation on both time and costs.
Generate and keep records of clear requirement Documents on all aspects of projects.
Regularly Reviewed standards, processes & procedures.
Made sure projects are completed on time with minimum impact on Handover of stores and costs.
Trained projects managers and the EPM Team.
Prepared management reports & Maintained Dashboard helping quicker decision making.
Been part of Negotiations. Each store build cost within 0.5M.
Run the PMG EPM department with minimum costs. 0.2% Sales
KOJ Group decided to implement ERP to help grow business from 700m to 1.4b. I was involved from the start of ERP project. Helped KOJ successfully select Oracle ERP. I had good exposure on the transition and was closely involved in ERP selection, CRP, Project Management, ASIS - TO BE documentation and Process mapping, Data cleanup, Testing, Training, Pilot and Go Live and also included for After Go Live support. My role was Project and functional support to the ERP business analyst team. Additionally managed all ERP Team logistic requirements.

Responsible for preparation of Scope, Project Planning, Resource, Time, Quality and Risk Documents for ERP.
Managed Oracle user licenses & renewals at lesser cost. Successfully Negotiated 60% on listed price.
Managed user expectations through clear communication and been part of change management.

KOJ Group decided to modernize Point of sale systems from traditional cash register. Rolled out POS system “Active Retail” from South Africa. Active retail was decided based on its previous success with large retailer like Foschini Group with 1000 retail stores. I was involved in all aspects of rollout. As part of rollout team visited stores to capture barcodes and product information to clean data. This formed the basis for ERP later. Also Involved in many business automation projects like Biometry attendance system, Track and Trace for shipment tracking and EPM for project management etc

Streamlined attendance report to the business through biometry and the software to extract the T&A Report. This is been in use until I left KOJ
As MIS coordinator responsible for preparation of various business reports according to the requirements of the management example Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Sales reports. Margin Analysis & Customer Analysis, Organic and total sales growth report etc
Manage promotion mechanism in the system in the Head Office, Price Management, Mark Up and Mark Down analysis and Stock Ageing Analysis including Reviews.
Coordinate with the remote stores to extract sales and stock information from store system to HO system.

FISCHER is an instrument manufacturing company specialized in research electro mechanical instruments. Here I was responsible to manage team of 4 to collect and report information from various educational institutes on the usage of different electromechanically instruments.
