Key Responsibilities:
- Link Budget, Capacity Planning, Coverage Planning, Frequency Planning, Cell ID Planning, PCI Planning, PRACH Planning, TAC Planning and Neighbour planning
-Analysis of Drive Tests done by measuring Throughput, SNR, RSRP, RSRQ, Attach Delay, handovers.
-Troubleshooting the RRC, ERAB degradations.
-Blind Handover and Inter-Frequency handover implementation.
-Analysis of Service Layer Architecture and attempts to minimize number of hops to reduce latency and increase throughput
-Analysis of IMSI Traces & Call History Records (CHR)
-Physical Parameters Verification of new sites as per the planning data
-Primarily responsible for all KPI TEST scenarios for the performance management of LTE Network. Test consisted of 3 point Data Uplink & Downlink, Ping Test, handovers checking, Attached & Detached
-Identify the cross-feeder issues rectify it through the PCI.
-Monitoring consistent RSRP, RSRQ and SINR parameters performance for better coverage of the site.
-Increase the Cell-specific reference signals power for Cluster to Improve the Coverage.
-Modifying the threshold And Cell parameter for better cell-reselection 3G to 4G.
-Cluster & Area Optimization of LTE Sites - Defining Inter-cell neighbours & configuration of time to trigger for successful Handovers
-Improvements investigating the new sites in the network after the integration and scheduling drive test for network services.
-Perform the Download and Upload throughput tests on each sector of the site and make sure to get maximum achievable DL & UL speeds at the best point of each cell with the best BLER, & SINR Parameter values.
-Perform coverage optimization by altering antenna down-tilts (Electrical + Mechanical) or azimuths to ensure better coverage around sites.
-Identification of coverage holes in the area of interest based on Customer complaints.
-Responsible for checking the radio performance for the newly integrated LTE sites analyzing drive test logs
Configuration related responsibilities:
- Optical NEs trunk configuration over Huawei Optical NEs (TXN)
- Alarm Patching Over the Optical NEs (TXN)
-Correlation of alarms on MSC and STP and TXN (Core)
- Optical NE NMS related all issues (TXN)
- NUC implementation over Nokia Siemens MSCs (Core)
FM related responsibilities on Huawei, NSN:
- Monitoring/ Surveillance of MOBILINK CORE (NSN, STP, SDH, DWDM) using IMANAGER and Netboss
-Perform 1st/2nd line diagnostics resulting in remote restoration and, if required, raising of a trouble ticket to the appropriate resolving agency.
-Respond to critical alarms and situations (fibre breakdown, power outage, MSCs/BSCs outage etc.)
-Manage and prioritise faults within the Incident Management Process.
-Provide fault co-op and expert advice to resolving agents
-Learning of MML Command interface for core entities
-To Keep Track of System Disk utilization and Link Utilization at STP end
-NUC Verification
- Updating the BSCs OPC/DPC Connectivity sheet and STP connectivity sheet that provides help in Routine FM
Fiber Related Troubleshooting responsibilities:
-Exactly locate the issue by checking cards, link-set, ports, signaling of the MSC or STP. Relate the alarms with possible media issue by checking the fiber media or leased lines. Also coordinate with external customers to troubleshoot their link problems
Projects Responsibilities:
-Responsible for NSN OMCs NMS installation project. In this project I have catered issue emerged during the installation of NMS, held meetings with Level-2 teams for rights and distribution of work load, held meeting with vendor for discussing the feedback of team over the NMS and what are the new requirements.
