I am leading the technical NOC - OCS & VAS team (Back Office) in Ufone - PTML which is one of the largest GSM operators in Pakistan having more than 24 million subscribers; my job description is as follows:
- Development and improvement of NOC OCS & VAS Processes / Framework.
- Ensures all members are effective and fully utilized in order to provide high resource utilization
- IN & VAS Network Trouble Ticket Management (generation, update, tracking, closure)
- Managing Nationwide IN &VAS monitoring of Acision & Huawei systems.
- Involvement in development of NOC In-house OSS & ongoing special projects and successfully deployed IN & VAS monitoring and auto escalation system.
- Identification of IN & VAS performance KPI and deployment of auto KPI reports generation.
- Involved Quality Assurance related task from QA department like KPIs etc
- Initiated Kiazen & QIP to improve the IN & VAS monitoring and fault escalation.
- Maintained compliance of QA documents for internal and external audits.
- Formulated SOPs within the department and controlled through QA.
- Preparation of NOC RFP according to requirement of technical NOC, Evaluation of bids by vendors in response to RFP.
- Performed Security Audit for Core, IN and VAS network at Ufone.

Charging System CS5 & VAS Consultant at Telecom Services & Consultant (Pvt.) Pakistan

- Fault detection & rectification on Minsat, VS, AIR, SDP, VXML-IVR, CRS and CCN.
