To provide the Client Meydan and PMC (TURNER) with continuous advice and support to ensure that HSE remains an integral part of the Project equal in priority to operations and profitability. To review and maintain the management and implementation of all procedures, policies and standards, striving for consistent and sustainable Service Delivery excellence. Responsible for the deployment, and assurance of and systematically and continuously improving safety of Contractor (Salini Impragillo) personnel, service delivery, overall efficiency and effectiveness of the operations, protection of health of the project and personnel including sustainable development and protection of the environment.
Key responsibilities to implement and maintained systems to international standards and to work with the Businesses and the Group to design to form establish and achieve a HSE Strategy and to maximize best practices and performance to ensure a proactive approach is adopted to minimize accidents and incidents, and to develop an industry leading H&S culture throughout the Group with the objective of Zero harm. Ensure that regions complied with local regulation and set up a regulatory watch for compliance.
Oversees the inspections on main contractor operations to ensure that all conducted activities adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct weekly progress meetings with client & contractor covering HSE aspects of the project.
Assign HSE Inspectors for the zone and follow them on day today activities.
Review contractors all documents including Method statements, risk Assessments and other related submittals etc.
Conducts studies and audits into ongoing HSE programs to ensure that Dubai Municipality Code of Construction safety practices are followed at project site.
Identifies occupational work health hazards and advice control programs in a systematic approach in line with DM CoPs.
Overseas induction and ongoing HSE training and awareness to promote company requirements and standards
Investigates and reports on accidents and related incidents, recommends the required changes, to ensure DM CoPs & Meydan-HSE’s compliance with health and safety regulations
Carry out frequent site inspections.
Closely coordinate and monitor the critical activities.
Regularly monitor the atmosphere.
Ensure that contractor is providing appropriate and sufficient rescue equipment like self-breathers, stretchers etc.

The Gold Line consists of 10 stations and starts from Ras Bu Abboud station and moves west through stations at Qatar National Museum, Souq Waqif, Msheireb station (by Major Stations), Bin Mahmoud, Al Saad, Joaan, Al-Sudan, Al Waab, Sports City, and Al Aziziyah.

Employed as Corporate HSE Manager also responsible for the development approval implementation and maintenance of the management systems (ISO9000-14000-OHSAS18001) in close coordination with Corporate QA-QA Manager for the country and projects. 25 different projects including 10 High rise buildings, Hotels, Mall & Hypermarket projects & mega developments like 17 low rise buildings & high rise projects in Lusail, Al Kheesa gateway etc. (+ 700 villas) were state of the art buildings grouping individual in a harmonious blend of architectural excellence and is primed to be a leading destination in Qatar. The high rise buildings average range from 25 to 45 floors per structure. Crowning the Al Turaiah Tower, COM-5, MIX-11 are among legend landmarks in dafna area and Lusail city.
