Managing the IT and Technology Implementations for BG Group Egypt Asset New Administrative Building. The Project planned budget is 12 Million USD with IT and Technology Implementations amounting to 4 Million USD.
I am responsible for the project management throughout the entire project lifecycle, including project initiation/proposals, risk assessment and management, project delivery, business liaison / stakeholder management, post implementation review and project close out / handover.
IT Implementations for this project;
• Construction and fit-out of the Local Data Center (Tier 2).
• Construction and fit-out of the Secondary Equipment Rooms.
• Installation of the LDC / SER Passive components.
• Installation and commissioning the Structured Cabling (incl. Fiber optics back bone).
• WAN Infrastructure (Fiber Optics / Orange MPLS and WiMAX).
• Audio Visual Implementation (incl. Video conferencing, Digital Signage, and Ancillary systems).
• Security Package - Cisco CCTV and Access Control.
• Secure Managed Printing.
• Comprehending client requirements, determining appropriate technology solutions, recognizing profitable applications for products, services and processes, overseeing selection of projects to ensure potential for value-addition to companies bottom-line in alignment with strategic business objectives of the organization.
• Spearheading evolution of a streamlined organizational infrastructure, with strong financial fundamentals, operating, IT and reporting systems.
• Managing overall IT service operations of the department and assuring that IT first line helpdesk support services provided are within the agreed SLA specifications.
