This project is a student accommodation building development and consists of 4 residents buildings, 6 apartments buildings and 2 residence conventional centres. The client is Qatar Foundation which is one of the governments departments responsible to increase the standards of education science and research in Qatar. Each residence building consists of 150 rooms each, while apartment building consists of 24 double bedrooms, 23 single bedrooms 20 studio apartments and 3 disabled rooms each. My role involves working as a site engineer in finishing components to satisfy the high standards in safety, quality and environmental issues which is required by the client. This is the first Lead project in Qatar we are aiming as a company to get the platinum certificate which is the top in the ranking. The total project value is £100.000.000 and the design were made by Burns & McDonnell. My role includes:
• Installation of 30, 000 m2 of Acoustic mat which is protected by Gypsum Underlayment in a thickness of 20mm.
• Installation of 15, 000 m2 Recycled Terrazzo Tiles and installation of 3, 000 m2 of Marble.
• Installation of 24, 000 m2 of Gypsum Board.
• Installation of 8000 m2 of curtain wall framing and glass in external facade
• Installation of 25000m2 of carpet tiles
• Installation of acoustic ceiling wooden and fabric panels.
• Checking materials schedules specification and materials submittals
• Preparation of complete works for inspection by the client
• Materials measuring and order
The role involve of the responsibility and management of 2 Philippine engineers 7 Indian foremen and a labour force of 260 men

Responsible for delivering the structural and finishing components of a 9 storey £50, 000, 000 main building within the Al Wakra Hospital Project in Doha, Qatar. The role included responsibility for the management of 3 Indian Civil Engineers, 7 Indian Foremen and a labour force of 400 men, working a 65 hour week. Achievements include:
• Installation of 22, 000 m3 of structural concrete, 3, 100 tonnes of reinforcement steel and 80, 800 m2 of formwork.
• Installation of 53, 000 m2 of blockwork, 29, 200 m2 of floor screed, 56, 000 m2 of internal render, 22, 000 m2 of external render and 80, 000 m2 of internal and external painting.
• The implementation of the site Health and Safety Plan within the works concentrating on: the prevention of falls from heights, prevention of falling objects, safe use of plant and equipment and the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Preparation of completed works for inspection by Client's representatives to ensure conformance with design and Quality Management System requirements.
• Gaining an understanding of applications for payment and contracts.
• Gaining an understanding of the roles of other members of the project team.
• Checking materials schedules for sizes and quantities in order to allow the ordering of materials.
