• Take a proactive role in the managing the accounting & finance functions for clients spread across various industrial sectors and provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues by proposing and supporting actions to meet business objectives and to guide the management team
• Take the responsibility of assessing and monitoring of risks involved in the business and provide advice on control procedures and agreements with external parties
• Review of internal control procedures and ensuring that effective internal controls are established, maintained and adhered to, by advising suitable corrective measures wherever required
• Manage monthly closings and coordinate the annual audit as well as providing pertinent financial information
• Coordinating & directing the preparation of monthly MIS reports, budgets, financial forecasts and report variances
• Develop and manage a team of accountants and provide necessary guidance, training and orientation and engaging in regular team building exercises
• Coordinating audit assignments & conduct review of audit engagements performed by the team
• Provide VAT advisory services
• Conduct VAT impact analysis
• Aid in reconstruction of books of accounts
• Provide assistance with selection of accounting software, setting up of chart of accounts, cost centres & monthly reporting structure
• Ensuring compliance of books of accounts with IFRS and VAT
Providing auditing, accounting and consultancy services to an array of SME’s spread across various industrial segments in U.A.E
Preparation of books of accounts in lines with IFRS.
Preparation of MIS reports based on client requirements and providing cash management, receivables management and payables management services.
Preparation of management budgets and forecasts and providing comparative analysis with actual performance.
Conducting market study and preparation of business plans for business start-ups in U.A.E
Exposure to accounting software like Tally, Peachtree, Quickbooks and Focus.
• Assist department head in formulating internal audit plan for the organization
• Entrusted with the responsibilities of conducting branch inspections and reporting control deficiencies
• Performing periodic risk assessment of various departments within the organization
• Conducting internal audits of various departments and reporting to the management
