The Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities
Ensure Contractor conducts all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner complies with all company HSE policies and procedures.
Act as the focal point for all QA/QC matters, providing a support function to the project team
Schedule and conduct internal/external audits, surveillance visits and process reviews
Monitors Contractor’s performance and quality of services to ensure compliance with their contractual obligations.
Monitor the Work progress against approved Contract Program and initiate action as required
Review & verify Materials submittals, Test reports for compliance.
Supervise, witness and participate in process of design mix trials of Concrete and Asphalt and other tests ensure all physical and field tests on soil, concrete and asphalt, are carried out and results are reported
Verify effectiveness of corrective/Preventive action for the reported Non-Conformities and its documentation
Attend Project Progress meeting, HSE meeting and review Work Program and progress
Participates in HSE meetings and company QHSE promotional programs.
Ensure systematic and consistent implementation of work methods and procedures used in construction and recommend improvements
Projects Involved
1.Construction of Service Tunnels under the sea in The Palm Island, Jumeirah by Microtunnelling which involves 1.5 KM of Microtunnelling with 3.0M dia concrete pipes and 8.0KM of HDD
2. GSE Tunnel West Of Concourse - 1, Dubai International Airport
Construct Tunnel at Dubai International Airport under the live Taxiways, it includes modification of Passenger loading bridges and related mechanical and electrical works.
3. Construction of Main Pumping Station Q Phase 2
4. DS 68/12 Irrigation Main A, B, & C
5. Landscaping & Irrigation for Dubai Internet City
6. Al Mankhool Sewerage & Drainage Part - A& B
These all are Drainage ad Sewerage projects comprising laying of underground pipelines from 250 mm to 1600MM diameters by open cut, Thrust boring and Micro tunnelling methods, construction of manholes, Chambers, Pumping stations and associated civil works.
Prepared Project Quality Control and Assurance Program for projects of different nature Implement, maintain, and monitor QA/QC program of the Project.
Conduct Internal Quality Audits to assess the Compliancy to the System and reporting vCoordinate Materials submissions and carry out all inspection/ Tests for work and materials.
Coordinate all inspection and testing for earthwork, pipe laying, concreting, waterproofing, protective coating in construction of Tunnels, Pumping stations and Pipelines.
Executed huge earthworks for construction of Tunnel, underground utilities and retention ponds.
