Awal Gulf Manufacturing Co, is a Air conditioner manufacturing company in Bahrain and we are procuring all the raw materials from outside Bahrain only. As a Logistics Officer, my role is from negotiation, finalization of annual freight contract, Filing the Rates, close monitoring and tracking of the shipments from the time of dispatch till arrival at Factory.

Assist Warehouse Supervisor, Op Cell Supervisor and Q.C Supervisor in their respective duties and functions.
Handling all kind of Documentation and Operations of Sea Export and Import transactions.
Making clearance from Port Authorities and Customs.
Coordination with shippers, shipping and airline agents and with consignee.
Handling the transportation from Sea Port and Air Port to Customers Warehouse.
Correspondence with Shipping line as well as the shipper & consignee.
Assuring the customer’s satisfaction in all kind of transactions
Actively participating in inventory / cycle counts conducted on timely basis and.
Prevention of pilferage, damages and shortages during the transit and timely reporting of the same on its occurrence.
Provide support to the external bodies like Customs, Health and Insurance companies to facilitate the clearance of consignments or claims if any.
Provides the Manager with Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reports
Preparation of different kinds of daily reports for KPI and value added service reports.
Installing, configuring and managing of NOVELL, WINDOWS NT, WINDOWS 2000 servers.
Providing network support to customers like Banks, Hospitals and Stocks & securities services.
Providing online support to home users.
Supervising of structured cabling.
Keeping records and follow up of complaints.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager.
