• Plan, organize and control all maintenance work within the section to ensure that all GSE equipment is maintained to the required standards of quality and availability.
• Maintain a regular liaison with other functions to ensure that all GSE equipment is available to meet operational requirements.
• Plan a preventive maintenance schedule and ensure that all necessary maintenance is carried out at the appropriate time.
• Supervise and train all maintenance staff (Senior Planning Assistants, Senior Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Junior Maintenance Technicians & Technical Helpers) to ensure that they carry out their duties effectively and maintain effective working relationships.
• Monitor all maintenance work to ensure that they comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all plant and equipment and identify and resolve any issues relating to maintenance procedures, plant or equipment.
• Maintain a regular liaison with Purchase & Logistics to ensure the availability of spares on time.
• Update the daily maintenance activities in Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO).
• Update the staff duty hours & overtime in the Time Management System.
