Team Lead (BSS/Transmission Implementation Network Rollout)
Working as Team Lead BSS/Transmission Implementation and Network Rollout, I am responsible for the implement and execution part of all South. Network Rollout:My responsibilities as Transmission Network Rollout:Supervision of for the Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Transmission Equipment & Quality Assurance.I had joined Warid GSM project in the capacity of Team leader Transmission Implementation, where my primary focus of work is PDH/SDH/DCN and Access Network Planning.
Hand on experience of installation and maintenance of Huawei MW RTN 600 Series (605and 620) and NEC MW (4E1, 16E1, 40E1, 48E1, STM-1, 2STM1, XPIC).My field of responsibility included Core Network Transmission and Leased Media Access Network. The planning phase comprised of three sub phases.
Conducting and Supervision of TSSR and LOS Surveys.
Performing and managing reports on daily, weakly and monthly basis.Looking after DTE/PTA issues to get permission for collocation, leased line availability, access and permission of installation at PTCL sites.Attend weakly meetings that include all the concerned departments in order to discuss achievements and issues.Draft Visits and transmission surveys.
Field work for LOS.Working on Path loss Tool.Working for (TELENOR PROJECT) NEC Installation, commissioning, testing of 4E1, 16 E1, 40E1 (1+0) & (1+1) NEC NEO, XPIC, Frequency Diversity.TSS and LOS for USF PROJECT.Worked on DXX for the backhaul connectivity of Media with all entities of network.Mapping of E1s to balance the time slots between two BTSs to achieve to desired traffic.Individually designed Repeater for providing the microwave links connectivity in the coastal areas.Worked on PTCL project by using microwave links for Wimax and DATA traffic of EVDO.Patching of E1s at TRANSCODER and BSC till MSCs for the traffic routing of Voice and GPRS + EDGE traffic.Worked In Central and South Region of Pakistan with major operators .
Transmission LOS Team Lead
My responsibilities as LOS Team Lead involved:
o Working as a Transmission LOS Engineer On a Phase V Project of Ufone GSM.
o Path Profiling of LOS results using PATH LOSS for both South and Center region.
o Perform and management of TSS reports on a daily basis and & also make the path profile of these surveys in South & Central region.
o Working on Network Management System of Mobilink to connect 280 sites using Netconfig tool & PNMT software.
o Responsible for the Installation, Commissioning and Testing of NEC Digital Microwave protected and unprotected systems using (4E1, 16E1, 40E1) IDUsand traffic nodes Ericsson (20p, 6p, 2p).
o Installation of Radios, Antennas, Feeder cables, 19’’MW rack positioning, grounding check status, ODU access from tower for maintenance check, Panoramic for dish facing, Tower Loadings and Layouts.
o Supervising Installation, configuration and commissioning of Ericsson RBS (2216, 2116, 2106, 2107)
o Responsible for the Installation, Commissioning and Final Acceptance of ERICSSON MiniLink Digital Microwave systems (Classic Node & Traffic Node).
o Complete knowledge of Ericsson SIRs and Sid’s
o Operating OMT for RBS Configuration and Minicraft 6.1 Software for Traffic Node.
