Estimation of construction of new and/or refurbishment of mechanical works related to infrastructure (both municipality and private sectors) like water distribution pipelines, storm water pipelines, drainage pipelines, irrigation water pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
Estimation works includes detailed study of tender documents, shop drawings, as-built drawings, technical specifications, enquiring of material prices, and estimation of resources like manpower, construction equipments, and other direct cost.
Preparation of related technical submittals like filled technical data sheets, catalogues, exclusions, qualifications.
Preparation of PowerPoint slides for the management review which includes project scope of works, exclusions, brief summary of estimation cost, construction equipment cost, manpower supply, and risks and mitigations.
Carrying out site visits.
Coordinating with Planning Engineer in preparation of Construction Programme.
Estimation of Mechanical works and Process equipments for STP, WTPs and Pumping Stations for MEP Projects and EPCM Projects.
Design of Building Services such as Potable Water, Rain Water and Wastewater Systems for EPC Projects.
Providing strategic guidance on the measurement and pricing of construction work. Scrutinizing contractual terms/conditions, documents, drawings and specifications to determine client requirements.
Floating enquires to Vendors and Sub-Contractors to obtain technical and commercial proposals.
Submitting reports to the upper management and keeping clients abreast of project progress.
Interpreting and reviewing system drawings to identify difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification to the clients/consultant.
Preparing material take-offs as well as valve engineering for the designed structure or plumbing works.
Evaluating work orders quotations to estimate project costs and accordingly formulating technical/commercial proposals including pricing schedule/bill as per clients' requirements.
Maintaining/preparing all documents including price comparison and cost summary sheets, proposal offers along with qualifications and clarifications of project as per quality procedures.
Coordinating with various departments including civil, electrical as well as heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) departments.
Guiding team of newly recruited estimation engineers, overseeing all aspects of trainings and conducting periodic performance reviews to develop and maintain a competent team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Superintended day-to-day quality control operations, prepared, developed and reviewed the quality plan and ensured compliance with project specifications.
• Conducted inspections; led, facilitated and supported the operating concepts and safety process to ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment for all employees during maintenance work and overhauling.
• Reviewed incoming materials to verify compliance with purchase orders, as well as ascertained that material certifications conform to order specifications. Kept tracks of the approved and required submittals in accordance with company policies.
• Drafted and maintained deficiency tracking list and quality control reports and submitted the same to the senior management for further corrective measures.
• Prepared schedules for inspections as well as conducted punch out and pre final/final inspections in the presence of Contractor Quality Control (CQC) System Manager, Quality Assurance Inspector and Contracting Officer Representatives for all electro-mechanical works.
• Conducted site inspections and oversaw contract requirements/project specifications on a regular basis to ensure the execution of all site activities in line with company procedures.
• Formulated necessary reports/documents and submitted the same to the Chief Quality Control Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handled the overall gamut of site operations while ensuring completion of the project within the specified time and budget.
• Oversaw the project proposal document, concept design, project specifications and related documents in line with organizational guidelines and project requirements.
• Negotiated with suppliers to close the deal with the best prices as per specifications and the clients requirements.
• Designed and installed the mechanical equipments and systems including chillers, AHUs, package units, split units FUCs, ducting, water systems and sanitary systems.
• Prepared as-built drawings for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC), water and sanitary systems.
• Formulated Requests-for-Information (RFIs) and got approval from the consultant in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinated with other site engineers to ensure timely and accurate execution of project work. Drafted reports and submitted the same to the Senior Site Engineer for corrective actions.
• Devised detailed operation and maintenance (O&M) manual.
