Horizontal Directional Drilling

Part of the core engineering team responsible for pipeline design, steering, tooling, quantity estimation and execution of 1.1 KM 48” (Main line) and 24” (Backup line) dia Gas pipeline across Talarevu River (KG Basin reserve) at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh for Reliance Petroleum in the capacity of Engineering Assistant.

Responsible for checking of viscosity of drilling mud (Sodium Bentonite), overseeing mud-mixing procedure, checking mud return lines and replacing screens as required.
Responsible for Drilling machine inspection and daily report preparation for machine maintenance.
Procurement and Logistics
Worked as a part of the specialised category sourcing team for procurement of Drilling Muds, Additives, Fuel, spares and allied equipment.
Was responsible for carrying out verification of test reports for the materials supplied by various vendors, preparing daily and weekly reports and requirement forecasts.
Project Management
Was responsible for collecting, analysing and providing raw data for the Primavera PMS.
Part of the team preparing weekly and monthly progress reports for management reporting.
Was responsible for vendor relationship management as a site representative.
Worked on pre-tender and sourcing work such as Bill of Quantity preparation, project pricing, overhead estimation and vendor identification.
