Started as utilities operation Engineer responsible for commissioning and operation of Turbo Gas Generators, Boilers and water treatment facilities of new Ammonia urea complex. Then worked as Ammonia unit Manager responsible to manage operation of 1000 MTPD Ammonia plant based on HTAS technology. I was then assigned to new grass route project of 1925 MTPD Urea plant where I was responsible for design review as owner representative in SP offices Milano. I was then assigned task of hiring and developing team for commissioning of this project as operation Manager. My team did successful pre commissioning activities followed by smooth commissioning and start up of the project setting new record of earliest completion of any project of this magnitude in 33 months by SP in this region.
Iwas then promoted as production Manager of new plant where I was responsible to lead production team and ensure smooth and safe operation of AMMONIA - uREA COMPLEX.
I was then transferred to Technical Services Department where I led the multiple teams responsible for engineering and design review, inventory Management, Reliability assessment Group, Tecnical Training Centre and IT group.
For last ten years I worked in the capacity of General Manager responsible for overall operation of the complex including production, Maintenance, Technical Services, Safety, Environment an Administration functions of three large scale Ammonia -Urea plants including Utilities. I got opportunity to work on acquisition and Merger of a state owned Fertilizer plant in our Company. I also led Quality Management System team to get ISO certification for Quality, environment and Safety. I was also responsible for resource planning and preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the complex.
Prior joining FFC, I worked with UDHE to commission their 1200 MTPD lagest Nitric Acid Plant in Pakistan.
