I am responsible for overseeing the collection efforts of approximately $30m accounts receivable accounting for over 500 companies. The job also requires coordination with world renowned receivables management companies like Intrum Justitia, EU, RMS-IQor, D&B. In addition to these fortune 500 names, I am also responsible for selection of agencies and making agreements with comparatively small but more effective collection ones in difficult regions like Africa, Russia and Middle East. Essential Job Functions
• Work closely with the Finance Department to facilitate inward and outward remittances with regard to commission revenues
• Decide on closure of the cases based on historical collection activities
• Guiding and advising the team on matters related to, collection strategies, timely follow up and compliance on code of business conduct etc.
• Liaise with the in-house lawyer and external law firms to coordinate with the clients on cases where litigation is suggested or in process.

Key Achievements

Designed, implemented and currently running the debt collection department. Started it from scratch developed into a full fledged division including formation of the team, assigning JDs, segregating collections (Inbound/outbound) and marketing segments, developing new targets including banks, corporate, public sector organizations etc. Working on expending further developing other services such as Public Records, Credit Bureau, Trade Exchange, Export Credit Insurance etc.
