A. Estimation and Design
• Select tenders in line with the company specialty and give opinion pertaining to participation.
• Review the tender schedule, submittal deadlines according to the customer/owner requirements. Clarify any items that are unclear.
• Composition of the tender team.
• Review and check scope of work, technical details and project documents such as (drawings, specifications, bill of quantity, tender procedures and conditions of contract).
• Review and evaluate all suppliers and subcontractors offers with their technical, commercial and Contractual obligations.
• Maintains and communicates data trends affecting project costs.
• Review the proposed estimation sheet totaling to cost i.e. (Material, labor, ancillary’s, transportation, rent, others….).
• Analyze alternate means and methods to determine the most economic alternative.
• Preparing of risk analysis with respect to tender conditions and anticipated material cost fluctuating.
• Reviewing pricing schedule and cost reports to develop win strategy.
• Maintaining management Approval on the selling price.
• Interpret and follow company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
• Monitoring the results of tenders and updating tender results schedule.
• Provide technical guidance, training and staffing support in cost engineering.
• Assist as needed in the development of pre qualification documents.
• Bid proposal preparation, Variation preparation and claims analysis.
• Build relationships and liaise with owners, main contractors, Consultants, manufacturer’s as well as suppliers (Internal & overseas)
• Establish creative strategy, budgets & schedules for design and build projects.
• Managing the design process in terms of commercially, contractually and time schedule.
• Ensure design development is undertaken in accordance with principal’s project requirements and the budget.
• Manage the obtaining of necessary consultant approval and check design is compliant with building codes.
• Close follow up for tenders results.
• Implementing the best possible pricing methods in order to secure new projects ( follow up and implement new announced methods and innovation / information technology/media ).
• Create a network with owners, main contractors, manufacturer’s, suppliers ……and maintain close contact with the same ( source for information ).
• Close relation with ongoing projects Managers/Engineers for better inputs ( prices, ways, sources…. ) allowing better results .
• When losing a project detect the weak points by analyzing the signed project value, as compared to in-house analysis .
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by reading, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks & attending educational seminars.
• Contributing to team efforts to accomplish related targets.

B. Procurement
• Review and evaluate suppliers offers in respect to project specification and requirements. making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors.
• Negotiate with external and internal vendors to secure the most advantageous terms and prices.
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods/materials and services
• Finalize details of orders and deliveries.
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
• Forecasting levels of demand for materials, liaising between stores, projects, suppliers, manufacturers and other relevant internal departments and keeping the fast items in stock.
• Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
• Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and maintaining a good relationships with them.
• Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
• developing an organization's purchasing strategy.

Job Position: - * Senior Electrical Engineer in Engineering &Tendering Department in The Company Head Office “Charge for Cost Estimation, Design and Tendering works”.
* Internal Auditor, Dealing with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.

General Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, review, check all the technical details and consultancy documents (Drawings, Specifications, Bill of quantity, tender procedures and conditions of contract)
• Co-ordinate and undertake the interpretation & review of system drawings to
Identify any difference to tender requirements.
• Preparation of tender queries to consultants/client to confirm and collect any missing data or documents.
• Co-ordinate and undertake the preparation of specification documents to submit
to vendors/suppliers for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment.
• Evaluate the Subcontractors and Suppliers with their technical, commercial and Contractual deviations.
• Check, review and calculate the mechanical equipments load such as “HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Motor Control Centers”
• Co-ordinate, undertake and review of system with the other civil works.
• Build relationships and liaise with internal customers, external suppliers, vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs and specifications.
• Review and produce the Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignments and to identify materials types & quantities
• Prepare equipment/labor lists for cost estimation.
• Calculate the project manpower such as engineering, personal staff and mobilization.
• Interpret and follow company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all
Aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
• Develop tender cost summaries including profit, manpower, overhead and discount calculations for final approval.
• Thorough understanding of the Technical Submittals, Bid Proposal preparation, Risk Assessment with respect to Contracts, Variation preparation in Bidding and claims analysis.
• Prepare and develop shop/coordinated drawings and technical submittals to the consultant/client, and arrange the progress working plan of the project site after getting the tender.

4. Replacement of the Transmission Lines of The Sewage Pump By under Ground Cables 22 k.v.
5. Electrical Networks of (Medium/Low) Voltage and Street Lighting Networks Of The East ROBIKY Road (12 k.m) In BADR City.
6. Connect all The Main Distribution Boards “22 KV” of all Residential Districts With The Badr City Major Station.
7. Electrical Networks Of (Medium/Low) voltage and Lighting Networks Of 250 Acre Industrial Area.
8. Electrical Networks of the Family Housing in the Second Residential District.
9. Design and execution for Electrical Street Lighting Networks of Main Roads, Green Areas and landscape networks of BADR City.

Maintenance works:-
• Electrical Maintenance of all Electrical Networks of the Street Lighting of Population Zones and Industrial Areas of BADR City.

Testing works:-
Testing the following Electrical Equipments at there factories:-
• Medium and low Voltage Cables in (ELSWEEDY for Cables and EL ALAMIA for Cables) Factories.
• Main Distribution Board 24 k.v. in (ABB ARAB, TIBICO and EGYMAC) Factories.
• Medium Voltage Power Transformers (500 k.v.a., 24/0.4 k.v) in (ABB ARAB and ELMACO) Factories.
• Lighting Distribution Box, Fixtures and street lighting poles.
