As a senior auditor in E& Y, I was responsible for the oil and gas and international funding agency segments, as well as all other foreign owned or managed clients whose functional language is English, across the trading, contracting, hotel, and telecommunications segments.
My experience includes tax advice, a number of specialized technical assurance assignments, and consulting related to financial systems and privatizations.
Key responsibilities
Supervising and managing an audit team on financial audits;
Evaluating and testing business process controls and interacting with key client personnel;
Preparing and reviewing annual reports for a broad range of companies;
Coaching, supervising and reviewing the work of audit staff as well as reporting the audit findings;
Participating in closing meetings with (senior) management;
Budgeting, analyzing actual versus budgeted audit costs and invoicing;
Performing in-house training to audit staff on applicable IFRSs and ISAs.
