As an effective IT Project Manager at IDB Group; I have successfully implemented and deployed useful Tools and Technologies, effectively completed various development projects for PC, Web and Service Oriented Applications, which resulted in highly reliable Enterprise Level Systems, and implemented seamless integration with the legacy application and existing back-end systems (SAP/Adabas/Unix/SQL Gateway). IDB is an international financial institution; it has more than 1400 employees, 4 regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Rabat, Almaty and Dakar, and 5 member organizations: ICD, ICIEC, IRTI, ITFC and WWF.

Summary of achievements:

• Talent Management Solution (TMS) Evaluation, Selection and implementation. Business Case, procurement process, RFP, evaluation of 4 proposals, evaluation report. The project was completed successfully in 6 months. Managed a team of 7 members from the HRMD, Admin Services, Legal, IT and SAP. The chosen platform was Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) SaaS/cloud solution which was a remarkable achievement since IDB was the first in Saudi Arabia to adopt Cloud Solution for Talent Management.

• Implementation of Learning Module of CSOD TMS for 900 users: Managed a team of 8 members from the business, implementation partner, and third party consultants.

• Managed the development and successful implementation of more than 6 Workflow Applications, to automate the Business Processes, based on Adobe LiveCycle ES2: Forms Designers and Reader Extensions Server, ASP.NET, CSLA.NET, SQL Server, and Lotus Notes with full Integration with SAP and Adabas back-end systems. The Workflow applications provided Digital Signatures, Tracking, Follow-up, State Transition Control, Multi-Step Approvals, Integrated Windows Authentication, Multi-Level Authorization, and Email Notifications.

• The Automation of the Business Processes using Workflow Applications enabled the Staff to complete his process in a few hours, as it used to take several days to complete.

• Staff Performance Management System (SPMS), a comprehensive Workflow Application using ASP.NET and Adobe LiveCycle ES2 Forms Designer. This application enabled the staff to complete his performance cycle for a specific stage in few hours which used to take several days. Deployed Five (5) major upgrades this application in 4 years and it was the foundation of the Talent Management System for the development of the RFP and the selection criteria for the proposals.

• Became the First Umbraco CMS Certified Developer in the Middle East and developed several websites based on ASP.NET and Umbraco CMS.

• Implemented a Standard Development Methodology for Teams to build Enterprise Client, Web and Service Oriented Applications using CSLA .NET.

• The implementation of the Clinic and Laboratory Management System enabled HSD to submit initiate the process, complete all tests, and submit the reports to upper management in one month, as it used to take at least 3 months to complete.

• Acquired the following certificates: SAP Solution Consultant, SAP NetWeaver Consultant. Completed the following training: SQL Reporting Services, Application Development using Microsoft .NET, Application Development using Oracle9IAS.

The platform was based on Windows Server 2000, SQL Server 2000, IIS, JavaScript, VB Script and ASP (Microsoft Active Server Pages). Following is a summary the achievements:

• Managed all the needed communications with the users, Team Members and the project stakeholders.

• Managed the technical team of 6 members with development skills in IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server and ASP, and business team with 2 members.

• Developed the Software Requirement Specifications and Project Initiation Documents. The requirements are based on Credit Scoring and Evaluation, Maintain the existing feature, in addition to integration with the back-end applications.

• Development of workflow with multiple levels of approvals based on Lotus Notes.

• Developed a comprehensive Technical Design Document and Project Plan, including budget and resource requirements, and time lines.

• Was fully in charge of all the Project Management and Team Leader responsibilities in addition to all related technical perspective of the entire development landscape required for this project.

• Faced numerous challenging problems and was able to find appropriate solutions quickly and with minimum effect of the Project Schedule. For example, designed a proper solution for dealing with Simultaneous and Dual Hijri/Gregorian Calendar to be implemented on SQL Server, HTML/JavaScript, and ASP using same logic and dealing with same and correct output.

I have built a complete 8088 microprocessor board including its interfaces to external devices (such as a printer and a terminal) and programmed the EPROM using the HP EPROM programmer to simulate an Operating System controlling such simple computer.
