Supervision of the teams that handle installation, service and repair of generators that supply power to Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) used for petroleum extraction in North Kuwait oil fields owned by Kuwait oil company (KOC).
My area has around 150+ generators working 24X7 and my role is

1- Achieving minimum trips and downtime.
2- Handling Manpower, repairs and spare parts with optimal cost and maximum efficiency.
3- Provide technical support to the teams on the field.
4- Complying with KOC safety standards.
5- Answering to all requests by our client KOC.

Alkhorayef has been working with Kuwait oil company for over 10 years, our fleet consists of 500+ generator units ranging from 60 KVA to 1500 KVA including Caterpillar, Olympian and Volvo brands.

I supervise 18 technicians to repair company owned generators, our fleet consists of 500+ units ranging from 60 KVA to 1500 KVA Caterpillar, Olympian and Volvo.

- Receive Faulty generators from the field.
- Conduct preliminary inspection on generators.
- Distribute workload and technician job assignments.
- Making sure that all repairs are done with the correct procedures and safety regulations.
- Ordering spare parts required for repairs.
- Quality control and testing generators after the repair is done.

Servicing and troubleshooting Caterpillar Products

- Earthmoving equipment (Loaders - Dozers - Excavators - Motor Graders - ...)
- Power generation equipment (Generators and Engines)
- Olympian and FG Wilson Gensets equipped with Perkins engines.

2- Writing technical reports about the Machine problems, Summarizing & explaining the problem's root cause to the customer and service supervisor.

3- Preparing quotations for the required spare parts using the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).

4-Testing and Commissioning newly delivered machines to the customer, explaining machine operation and maintain ace schedules

1- as Mantrac is the authorized dealer of Caterpillar (CAT) products in Egypt I was responsible among my teammates to Servicing and maintaining all of Caterpillar products with in customer site :
- Heavy Equipment (Loaders -Dozers - Excavators - Motor graders ..... )
- Power Generation Equipment (Engines and generators)
2- Ordering the required failed parts -if any - through Caterpillar software .
3-Making all the paperwork related to the job.
5- I was responsible after I have gained the necessary experience to train two junior electrical engineers on-site .
