Ensure familiarity with customer network planning, implementation and support processes and procedures.
Be a customer technical liaison for Network Solutions’s technical support and development teams.
Facilitate design reviews for proposed architectures.
Provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies and optimal implementation of Network Solutions.
Demonstrate expert level knowledge of network topologies and conditions. Ensure changes to network topologies are made with minimal down-time.
Engineer, configure and lead the design, configuration and deployment of VoIP and data networks including LAN, WAN and VOIP, Cisco routers, switches, and other network infrastructure devices.
Deliver to current client requirements and generate additional consulting work by understanding the client's need and showing them the justification for new technologies that fit their business.
Assist clients in the daily maintenance of voice and data network infrastructure including LAN, MAN, WAN, WiFi, VOIP and NICs.
Serve as tier 1, 2 and/or tier 3 resource for trouble tickets and work orders for voice and data networks and related network infrastructure devices.
Manage data/voice networking relationships and work with vendors to escalate issues when appropriate.
Review data monitoring stats and confirm SLAs with carriers are being obtained.
Review network utilization statistics to verify that circuits are properly sized. Take proactive approaches in provisioning bandwidth to meet needs or determine more analysis is required to determine types of bandwidth usage.
Provide regular status reports on tasks accomplished, current issues and progress toward goals.
Apply business development skills to identify potential sales leads and opportunities and communicate discovered opportunities to the regional sales team.
The role involves strategic network design and architectural work including the provisioning of new network hardware and services.
Designing the Campus lan network with Cisco recommended hierarchical model of Core, Distribution and Access layer.
Designing, Installing and Configuring Call Manager Cluster of 8 MCS 7845 servers and 30000(7921, 7937, 7940, 7945, 7965, 7975) IP Phones.
Installed and integrated XENO Server with CUCM for IP Phone Locking and other web services in IP Phones.
Managing & Configuration of IPCC for HelpDesk in University.

In this role my responsibilities were to act as 3rd line support for engineers, work on new network designs and migrations whilst liaising with customers, providing them with plans and design documentation. In addition, I am called to troubleshoot network issues as they arise and suggest remedial action along with pro-active means of preventing repeat occurrences. Teaching aspects of networking to other engineers and customers has become more important in my position. Cisco specializations achieved whilst performing this role include the Content Network Specialization, IP Telephony Support Specialization and the Enterprise Network Security specialization.
One of my roles is to prepare technical responses to bids. This requires me to provide documented designs, equipment schedules and configurations commensurate with the customer business requirements. Recent successes include the wired and wireless secure network infrastructure for alrasehd abetong company.
Projects that I have worked on include
Network implementation for customers such as Tabouk University, Zahed Group, Alinma Bank, Alessa, Globemed saudi insurance Company and International British School Jedd-ah. In particular, I have been involved in a migration project away from Globemed 3com network to a Cisco based network with load balancing to Globemed servers using Cisco ACE and WAAS. Other projects have included network core design and implementation for Industrial network firewalling and intrusion detection, plus Quality of Service proof of concept design and implementation for Tabouk Universtiy, Alinma Bank and Zahed Group, plus involvement with IP Telephony design and installation and some IPsec VPN work. Issues requiring troubleshooting have been in environments such as OSPF, VPNs and BGP.
