As plant Superintendent i have role in the management and operation of power generation facilities and Heres an overview of the responsibilities; oversees the daily operations of the power plant, ensuring that it runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This includes managing personnel, budgets, and resources effectively. Ensuring that the power plant complies with all relevant regulations and safety standards set by regulatory bodies. Supervising maintenance activities to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed. Monitoring the performance of the power plant, including efficiency, output, and environmental impact. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance. Addressing any issues or problems that arise during the operation of the power plant. This may involve troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, coordinating repairs, and minimizing downtime. Supervising and managing plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and support staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance. Developing and managing budgets for the power plant, including operating expenses, maintenance costs, and capital expenditures. Implementing cost-saving measures and strategies to optimize resource utilization. Ensuring that the power plant operates in an environmentally responsible manner, minimizing emissions and pollution. Implementing measures to comply with environmental regulations and reduce the plants carbon footprint. Prioritizing safety in all aspects of plant operations. Implementing safety procedures, conducting safety training, and ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Communicating with stakeholders, including senior management, government agencies, and community members. Providing regular reports on plant performance, compliance, and other relevant metrics.

Power transmission and distribution is carried out via an underground network of 115 kv, 13.4Kv, 13.8Kv cables .this network is interconnected with 380KV/500KV grid of SEC. HRSG and supercritical pressure boilers. Pumping Station for sea water/Process water & Potable water with flow more than 10 million cubic meter capacity. Tank Farm Operation HFO, LFO, Process water, Product water. Forecasting, Planning, Budgeting and efficiency monitoring.
Supervise and involve in complex startup, shutdown activities, surveillance, LOTO Implementation, switching, Maximo Application. MOC Management of change.
Complex Consist 02 Gas Turbine GE 6FA 01 Steam Turbine Siemens SST-900 R/O and Mix Bed Polisher Facility Maintaining plant capacity of 75M3 per day, one of the largest hybrid water desalination plant. Manage the activities on daily basis for the operation and maintenance of R.O Units and proper consumption of chemicals. Maintain the water quality parameter according to the standards, chemical cleaning (CIP) of the R.O Units and water tanks.
